Thank you for hiking your own gear in and out and encouraging others to prepare for that. People who plan to rent a pack animal to transport their gear to and from Supai need to make other plans. Those horses and mules are regularly mistreated by certain wranglers and and NOBODY should be contributing to that abuse.
