Just trained recently in a gym that had custom triceps rope with a longer length. Game changer but unfortunately for casual fitness industry difficult to move away from the ropes as shown in the video
❌You’ve been wrong in 6/6 videos but they keep popping up. So I just keep correcting. 1st) These aren’t even the equivalent exercises for the same part of the tricep to be swapping them. 2nd) Theres paragraphs more on what’s wrong here from position to ROM. MANDATORY: PhD in Exercise Physio, YRS of experience & a ton of muscle before you can post a single instructional clip..geez when I buy YT there may be only a few hundred vids but at least they’ll all be correct & guys won’t be so damn confused when they finally arrive at me.
I just attach my lifting straps to the rope. Works like a charm, perfect range of motion and I feel my triceps like crazy, despite working both at the same time.
I just saw a previous video saying “He just shows how your doing it wrong not explaining it” Now I see a video explaining it, bro doesnt take it personal he actually trying to educate not just get some bs views
At 6,7 I do single arm extension sideways, arm in such a angle the cable is even with my arm. Since I changed this I've seen more definition development.

Yeah, The Rope is good for the short head, and the Cable Push downs are good for the long head. So it's good to do both. I also like to use a V-Bar for the long head as well. Saves me Elbow pain with overhead stuff lol. It's my birthday btw So If you could like this comment that would be nice lol
I never said you couldn’t, but since you want to bring that up, leaning over and bringing your arm back as far as you comfortably can let’s you put the cable pulley closer to the ground, which keeps it from hitting your forearm and being as awkward.

You should lean slightly forward and stand directly under the cable origin to get maximum forces in the deep stretch
You can do cross body tricep extensions with a duel cable machine to save time and its almost exactly the same as this.

Using a proper length rope isnt about the contraction, its about the suprior loading profile. Use two of those so theyre twice as long.

Why does it matter behind the back? The tricep is fully extended either way
Go on your knees with the rope you will get full extension but this one is great too!

Pro tip dont let you hand go past up your elbow. Keep your arm at 90 degrees and pull down hell of a workout

The tricep is a pushing muscle. You need to push the rope/bar down, not pull it. Doing them one arm at a time is absolutely pointless
