YESSSSSSSSSSS !!!! I first heard this in the 90's on CD 101.9 --- a jazz station on the F.M dial back then and come to find out the Cd -Cassette or record could not be found!!! Then one day being a house head hanging at the underground spots found out that DJ Joe Clauselle added this song on one of his CDs and NOW its Mine YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Oh my god! I been looking for this for year!!!!! I remember going to J & R records in NYC....looking for this. They ended up selling me the Del Sol CD because I didn't know the title of the song........ One of the 1st team ups between Dave Samuels and Andy Narrell.
Thank you so much Dave Samuels for your contribution with Spyro Gyra. I'm sure you're living it up somewhere; sipping margaritas and mojitios and flirting with Marilyn Monroe. You are one of Jazz' memorable sideman: the community will not forget about you. RIP October 9, 1948 - April 22, 2019
Brilliant musician, because he plays to serve the music ... yet he can solo with the best of them!!!! Re: Spyro Gyra - yes, long term fan of their music. Saw Spyro Gyra w/ Dave right here in Spokane, late '80's.
`Back in the nineties I searched all of Manhattan NY looking for this tune, there was and still may be some problem concerning publishing, still looking.

You could definitely hear the difference when he left. I still LOVE Spyro Gyra - but Dave is working it out with this one and his other work. I love it!
Great fan ! I had the opportunity to attend a master class given at Sacred Heart University Dept of Music in San Juan, PR about 15 years ago and share our thoughts after the class. Really enjoyed his playing style both solo and with Caribbean Jazz project and Spyro Gyra. Great loss! We will miss him.
WOW!!!! This is CLASSIC! Sorry I never bought this Dave Samuels CD. Now it seems impossible to find. They don't have it in iTunes... which is tragic, if you ask me. Too much of the smooth jazz and world jazz aren't and haven't been represented in their inventory. I LOVE this tune!!! Always have.
Hell to the yeah...I 've been looking for this for the looooongest time!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this jam...make a brotha wanna run to the run islands and get a mai-tai!! LOL
Did you all know that Dave Samuels used to play for Spyro Gyra back in the day? You have probably heard the sound of the vibraphone in some of Spyro Gyra's earlier recordings.
