This is great information! I purchased my first snake from Morph Market, after a recommendation from my vet to use that platform. As a buyer, not seller, I think it’s so important to leave honest reviews to help the next buyer. I’ve since made other purchases on MM and only had one frustrating situation with a brand new seller-though I think it was inexperience and not a “bad seller”. Thanks for your insight.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. My husband encouraged me to make it because I get a lot of first timers who would benefit from a careful walk through of how it works.
Oh...and as a seller it can definitely be difficult to figure out the whole "best practices for great customer service" types of things to make sure that your buyer has a good feeling about everything! :-D
Honest reviews do help the next guy and I really should have been more honest about my disappointment with the color adjusted photos of Double. She still sells her geckos for higher prices and many people say they are happy with it. I did comment that it wasn't as bright as it appeared in the photo, but I felt bad accusing her of color adjusting when I can't prove it. Double is definitely not as bright as her baby photos though. :-P I do have a baby that feels color adjusted when I look at it in the bin though and I know for sure it wasn't cause that's just looking at it in real life!

Congratulations on your new gecko! I too have a leopard gecko for a pet. She's a rescue who loves eating bugs and exploring her enclosure. She has a tall hide and it looks like she's climbing the mountain when she climbs up it. Unfortunately she hates being handled, but her difficult start to life might have something to do with it. She was found in an abandoned apartment. No one is sure how long she was there, but her cage was covered in dead mealworms and waste and her tail was super skinny. She's living her best life now! When you are ready MorphMarket is a great place to get another leo.

I would love to get one from a reptile show. Have a lot to choose from and can see the gecko in person. No dealing with shipping and can talk to the breeder too.

Shows are definitely a great place to talk with the breeder, but many will chit chat with you online too! I have even talked to people on the phone to answer all their questions. I love talking about reptiles any time though (and thoroughly enjoy doing shows too!).

@@danellescritters I would like to touch one or hold one to see how they feel. Do they feel like a leopard gecko? My nephew used to have one a long time ago.

Crested geckos feel very different from leopard geckos and gargoyle geckos feel different from both other types of geckos. :-D Leopard geckos are land geckos so they don't have the suction cup feet and that makes a very different feel. Crested geckos are really sticky and will climb right up the glass, but gargoyle geckos don't do that so much and their feet feel very different because of it. And...both species are very soft, but each one feels different. :-D It's great if you can handle them to find out if one is for you!
