Some online auctions are dangerous, some try to sell land that is under turbary rights/commonage and not uniquely owned by one individual.
If a threat of legal procedings has a chilling effect, that could be a good thing from a buyers point of view. It removes the competition. You could get a bargain. The legal procedings have nothing to do with the buyer anyway.
Plenty of bargains if you know what you’re doing and you have cash and balls👍
I have no legal expertise what so ever, just have an interest on the going’s on and going off’s that going in the country, seen in the news last week a story about ownership of property in Ireland, it was to do with hedge funds from the states buying up properties that were repoed there is a possibility under Irish law that these so called vulture fund don’t have full legal title, maybe that’s why the banks sold them outside the country instead of to Irish citizens, we will have to wait and see, there always skulduggery going on in one form or another, we live in a world of crooks, great video Terry I enjoy you content.
Courts have confirmed receivers can't lawfully sell property, Terry knows this?
That is because in order for the government to keep Enda Kenny`s bubble from popping, houses have to be kept off the market. The more houses for sale, the more downward pressure on house prices.
No they havnt. You can cite a case if they have that applies to all receivers and not just that specific case.
Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video.
Thanks for the insight Terry! Any advice on buying a site for a small wood 1-5 acres. Taxes, legal responsibilities, walkers who access land and get injured, road access, neighbouring sites....exploring it as a hobby.
Folks are strange - whole song made about that 😂
Terry could you sell a property if the mortgage was never registered by a solicitor who is never practicing and as such there is no folio or charge?
You can sell a property if you have good title to it.
