They are the reason why I watch The Rookie. I always look forward to their interactions and love them. Tim has this rough image but the truth is he's so soft and Lucy brings out that side of him often

First, The Rooki needs more love as it’s so underrated. Second: u have to be like blind as a bat to not see the chemistry they share. They from the start have this link that can’t be ignored. Yes he pushes her to be her best as he knows that she can be the best.

@@Tom-ij7jd i find swat even cheesier… now after watching the rookie… all police shows are kinda cheese but this one had more realistic day to day encounters rather than swat with these extreme cinematic scenarios
@@bobkundi8858 yeah swat is the absolute most cheesy, over the top and pc police show out there. I still love it, but it can be hard to ignore sometimes lol

This is the first police tv series that i really enjoyed watching after THE MENTALIST, my new favorite character after Patrick Jane...Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen.
There chemistry is unbelievably amazing

I love this show so much I haven’t stopped watching it in 3 days after school is all done of course but I was still able to watch ten episodes everyday

She was dreaming a dream that felt real which included her bodycam apparently recording this
To add, only officer Chen on this show wears the uniform how a REAL LAPD officer would (female) if you all noticed. She looks blocky and frumpy, betraying her real figure. The other female officers on this show wear their 'custom tailored' uniforms ALA Hollyweird..

@@purpleslog Don't know but they allow beards on patrol officers who have a skin condition (easy, Trump got a doctors note). But yeh, show is lame but other than that. that actress probably saw how females dress frumpy in actual patrol.
Not just the females, Bradford's uniform short sleeve shirt is super tight. I'm not complaining though.

I miss the rookie want to see what happened after the last episode... this show should be renewed for 10 more seasons at least like blue bloods this is even better in all aspects, cinematography, story line, actors and actresses, hope it comes back soon

I'd pray for a T.O. like Bradford if I were a Boot. As they say in the Fire Department "You can't train enough for a job that can kill you." He's a walking reality check, and you either understand he's training you this way because he cares about wether *you* care enough about the job to learn how to do it the right way or you're getting washed out. If you do understand and give him the effort he demands, he'll protect you like a son or a daughter. Eric Winter and Melissa O'Neil just have that special chemistry.
