The first song we call lakoila is our stories of our people sung in songs. It's been ages since the last time i heard it and hearing it here was emotional. It's sad nobody sings it anymore and nobody cares to learn it anymore.
We still sing in so many fastival... specially I'm hills... even my grandpa wrote so many lakoila songs

We are proud of those Indian Jewish citizens who have taken their Hindu culture to Israel🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What hindu culture to Israel??? Don't worry they will be left behind by God of Israel during his second coming 😉😂😂... As once God Yahweh punished them because they were following sinful actions and rituals, their ancestors left god and worshipped pagon god's so God sent to exile because they failed to be faithful... So these are the days so we as believer of Christ are ready for his second coming, at that time even if the Jews still unfaithful to god then they will be left behind for judgement...
They're not hindus. They're christians

Well as a hindu as I see things we sheltered quite lot of people jews, Armenians, parsis, Ethiopians, shia's etc
But our ancestors paid very high costs to survive till this point of time and for also those who called india home as I see it now our ancestors did a good job

Here are some of the Folk Tales, Lores and Songs of the Chin-Kuki-Mizo people (B'nei Menashe)
1) Manmasi (progenitor) - believed to be corrupted word for Manaseh
2) Zou (identity) - another corrupted word for Yusef? Or Jew?
3) Thalek/Thlaler (Desert) - an interesting vocabulary with a people who live nowhere near desert (NE India)
4) Tuisuogiet/Tuisuoriat (the Sea: literally the Eight Part Water) another interesting word for a people who live nowhere near the sea.
5) Ser tan (to cut out the scar/wound; circumcision)
6) Khat (numerical value for one/1)
7) ami lou (lo ami) (not my people)
8) Folk Song:
(Believed to be tales about the Exodus)
Suun ah sum ang (Cloud at day)
Zaan ah mei ang (Fire at night)
Lawn in vaag é (lets keep moving)
Tuipui sen ma rilli kang in tan (let the river of Old be parted)
Suonglung chung tui suok chu la ta che (take the water that comes out of the Rock)
9) Rituals: sprinkling blood at the alter
10) some shawls/clothings pattern that match with Israeli traditional clothings
11) Pathien (the Patriarchal One God)
12) umni khaam: a day set by the Chief or Priest when no one is allowed to leave or enter the village; a reminiscent of the Holy Day
13) Savun Lehkhaziel (the lost leather scroll containing the Alphabet) believed to be the sacred Torah as no one knows how to read
14) Luut thil thel, luut thil thel (March on, march on)
Si'on ban a luut thil thel (to Sion march on) Sion is the ancestral territory allotted to the Manaseh Tribe
15) the recurring number either 7 or 12 in almost every stories
16) nam tei (a vessel passed down among higher chiefs the made and pattern probably of either Indo-European or Central Asian.
17) though a patriarchal tribal society, importance is given to mother's lineage
18) the solemn blood sacrifice ritual looks Biblical
Tuipui sen= red sea I think
Now that there is turmoil in Manipur I've heard that the Israeli foreign ministry has put forward it's stand on this issue. Can anyone guide or inform me on the Israeli stand and notification.
