1:46 The midrange voicing on the neck + middle position is PERFECT!! Dead on stevie!
I would absolutely love to see a video talking about your guitar, going into detail about its spec and the order process. Fascinated by the whole master built thing.
Cheers for this video though. 👍
I watched you live yesterday at the Daisy Jones Bar for your first "full-band" show since heavy lockdown last year.
I was sitting right in the front with my eyes fixated on your playing. I probably looked creepy as hell, but I was so gob-smacked by your technical ability combined with your musicianship.
Thankfully your eyes were closed the whole time and you didn't have to see me staring so intensely!
Thank you for such a great show!
Cannot wait to see you play live again!
Dan signed my guitar back in 2019. I thank you for that sir. Now I gotta live up to the standard!🥇
Perform as much as you can as you have bags of potential. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Good to hear from you Dan. Hope you and your family are ok.
Sweet! Do you like them better than the Slider pickups from Rod ?
They sound awesome!
This guy's playing..well done
Love your tone and playing, Dan! Thanks for sharing!
Holy 💩 , this man can PLAY !!!!!!!
you are my huge inspiration, i even change my gibson to stratocaster inspired by you and your playing.. wish you and your family good health and happiness
*Greetings mister Dan. Can you please tell me what do you think about Slider's 59 srv pickups ? Thank you in advance !*
whenever you think the blues is dead .... a star is born with one Strato!! Thanks for your music🤟
Thanks Dan🔥
Hey Dan... I'm a pack of wild horses. Now give me those pickups!!! Lol. Great video, Dan! I agree, best sounding pickups ive ever heard. I've been researching Mark Foley pickups here lately and would love to try a set of his '59, big iron low wind, or lone star series pickups in my '62 strat. Keep up the great content and keep being a great example of a human being and musician. Respect.
How would you compare them to the Slider's srv59 ? On this video, they seem to sound pretty thin to me. Don't get me wrong, you are a very good player but I'm not convinced these would be any better. it's difficult to judge on a video but the Sliders sounded way more full and rich. What is your opinion?
Este tío es una bestia ......no sé cómo no le sigue más gente . Escuchad más cosas de él.....es como si SRV se hubiera reencarnado en él
Sounds fantastic!
Yeah, Dan's tone kinda sucked until he got these pickups, but now its awesome
Nice sound 👍👍👍
You are a weapon man and you sound like Stevie!
🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥
were they soldered with lead 60/40, pre tin,
Temperature soldering iron settings?
we know that soldering must be extremely exceptional….❤
Cool Oppikoppi festival shirt!
Wow!! Great sound!! So tasty playing!! How is the wiring?
Wow...😊😎
another great set of pickups unavailable :(
Hi Dan excelentone one cuestiom Have you ever used texas specials, what can you tell me about the height of these pickups to achieve that SRV tone?
I had only 5 favorite guitar players in the world now I have 6.
I just want to know where the live gig was that he played while most countries are in lockdown, does he live in a parallel universe with Stevie? is South Africa civid free?
I think its more your playing than any pickup but I prefer vintage sounding pickups. I use the Fender fat 50's because they came with my guitar. But that was one of the reasons I bought it, the Mexican strats I was trying just didn't have that jangly tone.
Love this dude and his music. That strat is to die for as well...
Dan, please male 20 stones available on spotify again, man!
Cheers

the most underrated guitarist
Wow, these pickups sound approximately 0.000265% different to any other vintage spec Strat pickup. Amazing ! I guess when the whole item consists of the incredibly complicated construction of a long piece of wire wrapped around some magnets you're not going to get much variation, but when you include "magic", who knows what can happen ?
nope. your original MB strat pickups sounds better than this set. it got more sparkle and bite.
Luke Rockhold has an iron chin.
Too much highs and too weak sounding positions 2 & 4. Mark Foley says that it's better to set them with 0.1uF tone capacitor. Probably he's right, otherwise pickups might be non-usable in the mix. Thhe band will have to play quiet for that pickups to be hearable ))
Yeah, the 59' Sliders were livelier. But it’s hard to judge from RUclips
I disagree, these foley get stevie’s midrange dead on to my ears!
@@amritjanardhanan well it's really hard to judge by youtube. Maybe you're right.
