    Thank you to share the cool tips, what white balance do you use and do you using color checker for accurate color?

    • @PHOOD
      @PHOOD  Год назад +2

      I used to use a color checker especially when I worked with natural light but now my work is 95% artificial light so color balance with strobes isn’t an issue anymore! But a color checker or even a small piece of A4 will work perfectly

    Hi
    I'm a retired TV cameraman who mentors future TV people.
    I always tell my students the camera is not the star, the star is the star.
    Therefore, may I suggest you stop the zooming thing, which is pandemic throughout RUclips!!
    I know why you're doing it, but let the viewer enjoy your message without distractions.
    Also, as a photographer, you should know that cutting off people's hands is not a good look!!
    This is sent with all love. I find your videos most interesting and I'm still learning at this old age!!
    Brooksie

    Great tips, but would help to see you setting up the lights and mods in the studio, instead of just talking at the camera and showing final images. That's how we learn.

    A great video , it's a shame about the audio. I notice that you wearing a scarf which is bouncing the audio from different directions onto your lav mic. Just a suggestion is to keep you lav mic clear of any other clothing and this will provide really good audio

    • @PHOOD
      @PHOOD  2 года назад +1

      Hi Tim. Thanks for your comment. I agree! Me and my editor are actually struggling with the audio! I've actually upgraded to a Rode mic that's attached to the hotshoe of my camera now for all my recent videos but we haven't found it helping. It's the best mic on the market currently. Not sure what to do to improve but completely agree with your sentiments! I have a feeling it's something in the editing more then anything! Must keep working on it. Thanks for watching though!
