You're so sweet.
Watching your videos is so pleasing and very informative.
Keep doing this!
Amazing video! Thanks!😀
Great video, I think you should do a video of what angle is good for what food and how you setup, what tripod and how to look at the screen when your camera is set up top down
Thanks for the tips.
Good to see you back.
Thank you! It’s good to be back!

Loved this! I need to get back on here making videos too Lauren!
Yes do it! I'd love to see your videos!
@@LaurenCarisShort Instagram has been discouraging so I’m going to put more time into RUclips ❤️
Please what did you add on the tripod for the flatlay picture?
Hello Lauren . In this video, did you use à Manfrotto tripod for flat lay photography ? I’m planning to buy one but I don’t know if i should by the same as yours. Thanks in d’avance.

Good videos
Just found this good video
What is the name of that c stand and where can I get one?
Please, could you suggest me best camera lens for professional food photography.
Hello Lauren! How far does the horizontal arm extend on the Manfrotto 4 section tripod you recommend ( the length of the arm)
Thank you!!!
The one I have (the 131) is 60cm long, but around 10-15 cm is the clamp, so you probably get around 50cm of useable extension. I find it sufficient most of the time!
Hey there! After a really long time. And I just realised you've changed the name of the channel plus I saw you haven't posted videos in iver a year! How come? I hope you ok!(I might have missed something if you have shared it already)
Anyway Love your videos! Always get to learn something amazing. Keep them coming 😁
Hey! Thanks yes I'm baaaaack! New videos every 2 weeks now. I had a really busy year launching Food Photography Academy, rebranding That's Sage so decided it would be easier to just make the channel my name! Thanks for watching :D
btw, what accessories did you use to "scroll" the tripod up and down?
For this video I used the Manfrotto "Triaut" tripod and it comes like that! It's a bit of a beast but very stable
I’m glad you found your RUclips password Lauren. 😂
But welcome back! And props for helpful tutorial, composition in food photography is key to helping to sharing your content in the right context, and _yes_ , the *wrong* angle makes certain foods look terrible or flat, when it’s not supposed to be. All about perspective.
Hahahaha I’m here to stay now 😉 thanks so much for the watch and comment
Hello, thanks for the video, I want to ask about the tripod, it says you're using a Manfroto tripod in your gear list, but it doesn't look like it in the video, what is that tripod?
It’s the Manfrotto Triaut Tripod in the video!
@@laurenshort8225 it looks so handy, especially with the crank. How much do you like it?
@@thearabicdp I do like it, it’s really stable and goes SUPER high but honestly it’s REALLY heavy, so it’s definitely a studio one - not great if you Shoot on location a lot and want something portable
How do you measure the angle ? is this something you set in the camera?
Mostly it's by eye, but you can get tripod heads with all the angle markings on so you can be sure if it's important for you.
👊👊💥
Thanks for watching Jonni!
