No damn way the US, et al would allow Iran to build a base along there.
No damn way we should, with sleepy joe i doubt he’d even know about it until he wakes up from a nap!
Yup they’d attack the construction crew.
Does the US own the red sea? Are the country's there theirs???? Tf
It's not exactly their decision to make
Saudi will never ever let Iran build a base at their door step.
Surprisingly, Ethiopia might be having a naval base and a business port.
How so? At the moment Ethiopia is landlocked and it uses Djibouti and Somalia as gateways to the ocean. I dont know how'd they get access to the sea without invading another country
@@muniradlan3659They sealed a deal with de Facto state Somaliland.
@@dudeoftnt1280it's wrong deal so they won't get any somali sovereignty
@@abshirabdirahmaan6839 Somaliland is already a new country lol.
@@dudeoftnt1280 yep same country as oromia,Amhara fano country and Republic of Tigray Somalia government need to recognize those countries that Ethiopia claiming it
Interesting that along that coast, it is the most unstable. Makes me wonder if that's deliberate because stable countries would request the military presence to leave an important trade area.
Wtf are america France japan germany doing there anyway? I don't see any Egyptian bases in Europe. Wtf is this? I know they exist all over the world but why? What's the point?
Pirates. Most of the foreign cargo ships that were being attacked by this pirates carries product either from or towards them.
Germany is doing nothing there. There is no german military presence in Djibouti since 2021 when the german operation against piracy at the horn of africa ended. And back then the "base" was the logistic support and air reconnaissance for the deployed frigates/corvettes. Well and protection of those unwanted supplies from the UN World Food Program.
Wow such an important place is surrounded by all countries filled with civil war, what a coincidence! Lmao
God damn it Johnny!
I thought my smoke alarm battery was beeping
You forgot that Türkiye already made a similar deal with sudan.
So has Russia.
@danwelterweight4137 when did they rent an island from sudan?
As an Arab, it is sad that everyone is trying to controll our countries
@@Proud_Hadrami except yourselves.
@Proud_Hadrami since when is renting an island from a arab country "controlling our countries"? Don't forget that without us Turks the Arab world would have been colonized by the colonial powers.

Damn. I was at the vacation in Sharm-El-Shekh and I didn't didn't even know that just a few hundred miles away from out hotel a lot of conflicts escalated.
Bro sure likes maps.
Could you please make video about Eritrea 🇪🇷..
djibouti just like “MILITARY INSTALLATIONS!!! GET YOUR RED SEA MILITARY INSTALLATIONS HERE!!!”
Thats interesting Johnny. Who did you steal the content of this video from?
This is like our modern version of 55 days at Peking
I remember one line from movie that fir this situation. "You are in someone else country with the gun" make wonder who is for this country
This makes so much sense after watching snowpiercer season 4
Saudi Arabia also has a base in Djibouti, and the United Arab Emirates are occupying some islands in the Bab el Mandeb strait. Germany and spain do not have a base, they are hosted by the french in one of their 2 bases, only Italy has a small permanent base.
I find it interesting that my country (Italy) colonised almost all countries in the Horn of Africa, but has its military base in the one country that was never under Italian control
When a new burger joint opens up and all the rich kids are hanging out there first 😅
You know whats amazing the countries who have troops are the one in power POLITICS BABY
It is a hardship for the country where everyone wants piece of the junction, it is not for them but for everyone else
Cool, sparring partner 💪🏽
Hey Djibouti, which countries do you want to let have military bases in your territory?
Djibouti: Yes
Key word, “might”
You forgot to ask the most important question - why are countries from far away are the ones with military bases on that choke-spot?
There's a Saudi Arabian base in Djibouti too. Why you didn't include it?
I always thought that the Red Sea looked a lot like The Tingler from the old movie.
Instability allows for graft.
Can you please bring some information about Eritrea 🇪🇷
EVERYONE is in that Bouti. 😂
These countries were not unstable until the 1990s when the current systems of global trade began. Gaza is also on a coast of the red sea
All countries with strategic coasts or oil have "civil unrest" and certain countries have to help them get "peace"
"You are on this council, but we do not give you the rank of Master"
Djibouti 🇩🇯 is like that friend of everyone that just likes to cause chaos
It makes sense for Iran to want to also make a base there ..
