Bro I literally wasted two hours of my life trying to fix this issue after I installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus (which I learned is infamous for causing this specif problem), and only when I found your video I was finally able to put an end to my suffering. I was legit losing my marbles, getting more and more desperate, until this video. When you get sound back, you realize he/she's obviously cognizant that you can't hear, as he isn't speaking at all! That's why there's background music only - so that when you get sound back, which he/she seems sure of, you know that it's fixed (and video not too boring)!! SMART COOKIE!

JUST CLICK TO UPDATE DRIVERS! I didn't need to uninstall anything. I right-clicked on my only option under Device Manager---Sound ----Realtek High Definition. It said "click to update drivers," I did and VOILA!! 1 minute later sound was restored. Yay! Thanks so much MYou!

Äfter hours of reading and watching youtube, I cleaned my audio jack with a rolled piece of sandpaper. The jack plug was a bit rusty and the connection wasn't transferring the electric signal to the speakers. It works now.

This is the way I solved my Audio problem :
Device manager > sound, video, and game > Right click all 3 files one at a time > uninstall device
Then Re- start your device
