Greetings from Normandie. ❤ Lisa you always bring a smile to my heart. Here in France we call this decor style "Empire". There is little difference between Regency and "Château Core". I am lucky enough to live with this style and let me tell you all mon ami, it is a decor that is too delicate to work well with children about, and it is a complete bitch to dust! 😂 I would happily swap it all for the joy of having some of the Bridgeton men cluttering up my home!

I don't collect Regency furniture myself, but the best example on a more "reserved" level is Sir John Soane's yellow drawing room in his London terrace house.

@@LisaHoltDesign I've learned, when dealing with period furnishings, that restraint is a valuable asset....otherwise thins can get too affected.
Love Bridgerton and in a next life I wouldn’t mind a stately home decorated in Regency. Absolutely beautiful. For now I will definitely look for a tea set as that is all I could fit in my very small modern home. 😅

Oh, you did good Lisa I love the Bridgerton series and I I am a fan of the Bridgerton’s so really bringing some of those Regency elements from the Bridgerton home were a lot of great ideas! Now, where can I get Anthony and the Duke? Lol.

It’s fun to look at the rooms and landscaping (and the guys!) on Brigerton. And yes the decor does give me the vapors…but not in a good way! Makes me anxious with the colors and maximalism. Awwk! Thanks Lisa

Not a Bridgerton devotee myself but it has certainly made quite the an impact and the style is generating revenue in the marketplace.
The sets are certainly lush.
The period was an extraganza of elegance.
… I love the show, I love the decor (the furniture, details, flowers, paintings, social events) and I absolutely love those dresses with a really high waist just below the bust area and small sleeves (really beautiful ones especially in season 2). I really wish it (high waist and cute short sleeves) came back in midi length dresses. Living in UK I do wonder sometimes what happened to real gentlemen …

I've been adding pieces like these for years, but I thought they were more in the Louis XVI and Swedish Gustavian style (not RegencyCore.) And, I've never seen Bridgerton!

There is no such thing as "regency core"! We do not say "mid-century modern core" or "art deco core". Regency IS a style, without the core!
