Yanked a early 80's Monte Carlo up, over a 4 ft embankment with chains, 1 ton come along, 82 Toyota pickup and 2 trees.
Had lift it almost straight up out of mud to the floorboards.
took a while, but I got it. Tow dolly to get it to the garage.

Congrats on 10k. Id have to say that the time I was scraping out an old hay wagon that had a broken reach and one of my old Chevy 2500 with a 6.5l diesel and had cut the back off to make a trailer out of the work box it had on it so I balanced the front of the truck on what was left of the reach and sat to back of the cab on the edges of the wagons axel flattened the broken reach pipe and blew a hole to put a pin through and hooked it up to my 01 olds bravada I was driving and towed it 47 miles to the scrap yard. It weighed just over 100lbs more than the bravada weighed and was barely staying on the running grear and very tippy. I was able to do about 45mph before it got swaying but because I wasn't going to pay for any type of registration or put lights or a road leagal coupler to tow it by I had to keep it under 25 cause I stuck an SMV on it so I was leagal to tow it. Definitely a wild ride without any trailer brakes old junk tires that were leaking and all just with a hitch pin with a grad 8 bolt through the lock hole and a few very large washers and nuts on the pin to keep it held down to the truck otherwise it would try to pull the reach up. Definitely had the rear end very light on the truck and started to slide a few times during transport (yes I have pics of it when I was done hooked up and ready to leave)

Love how you think on the fly! Might be a dumb question. I work IT and I drive a 2015 Hyundai with keyless entry still from the dealer. I was thinking of doing an upgrade to try and help weed out the wanna be thieves etc that have moved in to the areas surrounding my place. Issue is new tech vs old tech. If they want they'll take it regardless I get it; but I want to deny the immediate satisfaction factor as much as possible until I can find a better place to move to in the next few months at least. I only just moved back home after having to leave the first time; been here 3 mnths and already they tried stealing my license plate and my car parked right in front of my apartment was caught in the middle of a shoot out. I have 2 bullets still lodged in it and am waiting for my appointment with the shop to get them removed and see what damage was done. I havent had an easy life; never did drugs - I was one hell of an alcoholic from the age of 13 up and stopped cold turkey. Everytime Ive moved ive had to leave things behind - so what i have now is what ive got. Im paying back back bills from a bad divorce and cant afford a new car or anything so this; my dog and my turtle are what ive got. Ive been homeless quite a few times; I've worked gas stations; mcdonalds etc until i got myself my certs to work IT. Im not "solid" but im breathing.
Finding your vids and listening to you just positive and hard working give me hope to continue
