I've never been more pleased watching someone give a review. I'm off to go watch more reviews just for the sake of learning from her. I certainly would not be bothered if others who give reviews on youtube have the same idea ;) Very well done Gayla, I appreciate your work!
I snagged one of these off of eBay primarily due to this video and of course a Billy Penn video. This is a great all purpose little amp. Go ahead and run the Tele through it. You will be surprised. Big Ron
I bought mine today. It does more than amplify. The technology is "voiced" somehow to coax very natural sound even from mediocre pickups. Played it with an old Ovation, and used just the piezo in my Gibson, both of which normally sound "plastic-y". Over the lunchbox, you get a nice, woody, warm, natural feeling sound. Extension cab makes it gig-worthy! Replaced that ugly plastic grip with a Fender-type leather handle. Gorgeous.
Thank you so much! I've been looking for a lighter amp to take to restaurants when I gig. This sounds perfect and your description of when you've used it out was very helpful to me! Your playing is lovely also. Similar to mine, so I know it will work great!! Cheers, Bunny
I have the same setup, ZT lunchbox acoustic and Lâg T300ae. Perfect match. But I also plug in myJ6 jazzbox and sometimes my AmStd Tele as well. What an amp.
This one sounds very nice. That said I ordered to ZT lunch box (the electric version) on eBay and sent them both back. They had qualities, warm sound and powerful for the size but no way to play a E string (Thicker one) without having a terrible vibrating noise from the speaker that spoilt the qualities mentioned below. I wouldn't recommend the Lunch Box (electric) for a professional use.
I know that this is really not up to date, but you're video is reeally, fantastic goood. and you're music or how you you play, make me belive in love again... Thank you Mauricio. Really tahnk you!!!
How loud does it go? Also, did you folks try it with a mic plugged in as well? I was curious whether the output on the guitar came down a bit with a vocal mic plugged in... Thanks!
Thanks. Feedback is a big factor, and was considering PA systems like Fishman and Bose. Too big. The size is very special and intimate, like a friend. Can you give some idea of the range of positioning at around 5 out of 10 on volume using sensitive mics? How does the phase-feedback adjustment work. Also, as a mono vocal guitar amp is the angle range sufficient to saturate the room?
I had a zt lunchbox. I loved the little guy but found the sound to be really concentrated and lacking fullness/warmth/bass so gave it up. I'm really interested in being able to play and use a mic at same time. Do you think this is really good for that? Is it bassy enough?
For those who wondered its CGDGBE tuning I think - lovely isn't it - got to be careful not to buy the amp thinking - oh I'm gonna sound this good through that amp! Nice one Gayla!
i've seen a video here where a bass guitar is connected over it and it sounds like a guitar but if you will use the power of this amp with an external bass speakers (big drivers) it will sound great....200 watts very nice ... the catch here is it's so light yet powerful.. nice amp!!!
Hope you didn't sell it. I owned one, sold it to pay bills, now having cash again but unfortunately it's discontinued. Wonder why... The new ones are useless, no connections, nothing. This one was a gem !
Ok, yeah, but what guitar is that and what pickup do you have in it. Don’t see anything I recognize on the headstock, so can’t really tell anything meaningful from that vid.
Ms. Gayla, let me depart from commenting on the dynamite little amp to tell you that your guitar playing is out of this world. The amp is great and so are you, Ma'am. You must be accustomed to dealing with crushed male egos desperately reaching for something to criticize, such as, "I didn't like your set list/guitar tone/nail polish" etc.,. Especially because you didn't (and probably never do) apologize for not "playing like a girl."
By far the best (thorough, engaging & informed) review of this amp I have seen with great playing & personality to boot. Hats off to you Gayla !!

Certainly is refreshing to watch an informative review, where the reviewer is actually capable of playing enjoyable music, THANK YOU!! Gayla.
Gayla - great playing, and an excellent showcase for the product.
Amp sounds exquisite. I can see one of those in my future. Delicious playing as well!

Master, can I connect an acoustic bass (Warwick Alien 6, six strings fretless) to a ZT Lungebox Acoustic amp? Thanks.

Hope you didn't sell it. I owned one, sold it to pay bills, now having cash again but unfortunately it's discontinued. Wonder why... The new ones are useless, no connections, nothing. This one was a gem !
Gayla, how is the quality on vocal reproduction?

Shame it's not battery powered, big mistake!
