Videos like these are so fun to watch but actually playing in competitive and having smurfs in your game is really frustrating 😭
I tried ranking up last 2 days of season 4 from silver to gold and got matched with a clearly high elo god genji called "Rashed". Always out of danger, when you are low hp you are assassinated afterwards wall climbs up to safety in dorado and my team had noone to contest him up there.
Pretty suffocating and made me realize I shouldn't have switched off kiriko to brig to challenge him and should have contested the enemies on high ground more because their ana and LW had all this free space to peel and heal to their hearts content
P.S He was most likely boosting a duo at the end of a season
@@khaledm.1476 soooo he was playing how genji should play? just because he was staying out of the open and utilizing his abilities doesn’t mean he’s a smurfing god genji lol. is it possible? of course. but the way you described it doesn’t seem like smurfing
@@brandtashworth1357 he was playing how genji "should" be playing but in silver. His mechanics and positioning were alot better than a silver.
He ended up with over 30 elims and 1 death while everyone else was like 2-3 kills. They were smurfing man

1:50:15 he makes a remark about "let me guess all the heroes that are non aim based have the highest winrate in overwatch? Heroes like brig, torbjorn have the highest winrate in overatch. In almost every rank"
I got curious and I looked up the stats on overbuff. Sure enough. Sym torb are the top 2 winrate characters in EVERY SINGLE RANK. Brig is the top winrate support in every single rank. Followed closely by zen (granted zen gets value JUST through discord orb and transcendance which are dummy easy to use), and while there are few aim based tanks. Reinhardt is the top winrate in every single rank. Followed by a mix of sigma, JQ, and ramattra. This was in a time window for the last 3 months.
You gotta wonder. In a game that is a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. Why do they make all the non aim based heroes get so much value that they have literally the highest winrate in every rank? There are a couple exceptions here like moira has a relatively low winrate because she provides no utility other than damage and healing. Mercy for the most part is a dead even winrate usually. But in every role Kayjii is right here. The hero at the top of the winrate is a hero which requires little to no aiming mechanics.
Because the game isn't a first person shooter. It's a moba with fps elements. Aim isn't the only application, nor the most important application of skill in a game like this, so it makes sense that some heroes can bypass this entirely. A more accurate representation of a hero shooter would be Valorant moreso than overwatch.
