Growing up in Southern California and having both parents from Minnesota we always called soft drinks "pop" also!!! My parents moved two CA. just after world war two but always talked about how much they loved Minnesota!!
@@Nicksundahl You know I grew up on the west coast just south of Los Angeles. Up until the late 1970s we all called sodas Cokes, no matter what kind of soda we were drinking!! In the 1960s I started my career in the grocery industry and everybody called sodas Cokes back then!!
I would love to move to the twin cities from Seattle. It's becoming impossible to make ends meet here. Housing prices keep going up exponentially, traffic is becoming horrendous, and crime is out of control. I thought about Duluth, but the twin cities offers more in the way of job opportunities for accountants like me
Not sure if jobs are easy, but certainly depends on what you want. Rents range anywhere from $900 - $1400 for studio and one bed apartments. Also, that can vary depending on what part of the metro area you’re looking.
The only severe weather we get are Thunderstorms and Tornados. Minnesota gets on average about 30 tornados a year, but rarely do are they in the Twin Cities area. Thunderstorms can cause power outages, and that can happen once or twice a season depending on where you're located. Great question!!

I moved west to go to school and quickly started referring to it as soda just to fit in.

I lived in the Twin Cities before moving to Portland, OR years ago. I'm going back to the Twin Cities. It's the right move!
I'm not in Minnesota anymore but Minnesota will always be in me!
Preach!! Thanks
Born and raised in the Twin Cities. If I moved back, I would go to Duluth.
Gotta love the iron range!
I went to school in St Cloud and I like that town but scenery around Duluth is better.
Sounds good to me.Lets move to Minesota
Absolutely!!
Meet ya' there!!
Is work easy to find? Is tent decent for studios and apartments? I am from Mass and cost of living is one of the highest in the country.

Do you put snow tires (stud or studless) on?
Snow Tires, studless. Studded tires are not allowed in Minnesota.
@@Nicksundahl Like your RUclips. Will look you up when I get there. New Office will be in Big Lake. Probably look for something around Maple Grove.
Thanks so much. More than happy help!
How are the natural disaster rates in Minnesota?

Yep, the long goodbyes. Good luck if you’re from a large family, lol! 😂😂
It really is painful!
Sneak out and start the car, then announce that you're leaving. By the time you get out, the car is warm..
I have a question
What can I answer for you??
What part is lakeville Minnesota in?
It’s part of the South Metro. Going south from the Twin Cities on Interstate 35.
I have lots of questions
I'm happy to chat with you Steven. You can send me an email with your questions at nick@aktahomes.com or give me a call at 612-877-0527.
