As a local this is hands down the best twin cities travel guide. Really happy to see a lot of local joints that get overlooked in all the other videos.
Thanks Hunter!
Also most of us Minnesotan came here long before America even existed look up the Viking voyage from mantoba Canada to Minnesota 1000 years ago America formed around 1781 we came here around 781 to 1066AD also the indigenous people in this state carry Norwegian blood from our ancestors here also Minnesota translate from objiwa language meaning how blue or grey the sky looks on the evening so ye most Americans come from killers who took there land learn about 1500 and 1600 hundreds
my friend butter says this is not true.

Moving from San Antonio TX to Minneapolis. Nervous but excited after seeing this video.
bro its cold AF here in the winter🤣😂
we ALWAYS have 1 or 2 weeks where it dont even get above -10😅
Follow up??
Thanks for the review! Ive been living in Minneapolis for 5 months until now but haven’t visited many places and this list is perfect for me to discover Minnesota!
Amazing video as always. Thanks for always taking so much time to make these videos. These will definitely blow up as time passes. Can't wait for more guys!
Hey, thanks for this, I'm staying in Minnesota for 5 weeks in the new year, this is a great way to get to know the city!
I’m originally from St. Cloud and now live in the TC metro and damn, you taught me so much about this place that I never could’ve learned about on my own. Thank you!
I'm anxious in relocating to the Minneapolis area from Seattle. It checks all the boxes for me. Vibrant economy, 4 major professional sports teams, and a large variety of restaurants and breweries makes it all worthwhile to me. Real estate is also a lot more affordable than Seattle.
You’ll love it in Minneapolis… I moved out recently because I had to and miss it every single day. I even cry about leaving because it truly is the best place in the country. I want to move back.
I used to live in Minneapolis and now I live in Portland, OR. I'm moving back to Minneapolis this summer. Trust me, you won't regret it! Love your screen name, BTW!
@@jessealvarez779 I’m jealous of you.
Actually, 6 professional sports teams. :) MLS and WNBA count.
@@jessealvarez779 how long ago did you move from the Cities?
because i live here and have been to Portland and now the Cities is well on their way to being like Portland the woke politics is destroying it
Nice video, thank you. Very helpful for planning our visit
I love this series, and mpls is my home city! I’d enjoy seeing videos on LA, Knoxville, savannah and or Charleston, Asheville
Thanks for sharing places that I have yet to venture to... Minnesota, home sweet home.
Great video. Definitely awesome itinerary ideas.
Wow, this video is thorough. You clearly spent alot of time on it. I appreciate the names of the places on the map so I could google
Headed to Minneapolis from California to catch a home Vikings game. Thank you this helped the planning for our trip
Thanks for giving us so many ideas ...
Great video! Love the production value and snarky jokes lol. Could y’all do Pittsburgh? 🙏🏽
Just got back from Pittsburgh a few weeks ago, will add to the list
Looks like a great state in the best country
I love Psycho Susie’s on Marshal near Betty Dangers. It has a Caribbean band and dried grass on the walls and cabanas on the deck next to the Mississippi River. Great cocktails and fun glasses in fun shapes that you can buy to take home!! My girls take me there on Mother’s Day most years!!
Dude I have lived most my life in Minneapolis, and never seen some of these places. Thanks for showing me more of my home!
As a Minnesotan...born and raised around so many types of people and become a growing state to grow family is a good place.
Good video. Thank you.
I’ve lived in the twin cities for a good amount of my life & literally didn’t even know about most of these, I’m definitely going to visit some of these spots!
That’s awesome!
Damn! Finally a good video about my home city! It’s like you literally followed my wife and I around to find out our favorite spots🤣 we moved here after college and thought that it would be temporary before moving to the West Coast - that was 30 years ago. Minneapolis is an amazing place to live! Great Music scene, amazing breweries (lots of them), great art scene, one of the top places for award winning restaurants in the country (more James Beard awards than most larger cities) and easy access to the outdoors- hell, I live a mile out of downtown and have 5 lakes within a few blocks of my house!
Wow thanks!
I heard good things about the music scene! any place you would recommend for someone coming during the winter time? around December/chrismas time?
This country is beautiful wish to visit soon❤️
love your videos. From Asia (Bangladesh).Third-person to like this video.
Thank you ❤
Awesome video
This was really really good! Well done! I can’t wait to watch more. Please consider doing Phoenix and Albuquerque if you haven’t already.
Done both!
@@VentureAddicts
Fabulous! I can’t wait to watch.
Love your videos!! They are amazing. Can you please do Baltimore next??
Love Baltimore, will add to the list!
I'm a st paul native and trust me these videos still come in CLUTCH lol
I was at Pimento a couple weeks ago 🔥 🔥
Can can wonderland is incredible
Like one of the best videos
You definitely missed out on The Nicollet Diner, Roxy's Cabaret, and On the RoX downtown. Check them out next time!
Great recommendations!
Col! City few of my friends are loving to live there!! ❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Grande Sunrise in South Minneapolis has the best Mexican food
family owned and ran they are amazing people
Lived here for 4 years and I’m still looking for stuff to do 😀
At some point, I plan to go to Minneapolis so I can attend Furry Migration and visit Mall Of America. Looks like I'll also be eating at Wrecktangle Pizza and Milkjam Creamery as well. If you ever make a video about Omaha, I'd recommend bringing up Zio's Pizzeria and Romeo's Mexican Food in the restaurants section. I've been addicted to the cheese dip at Romeo's since I was a kid. Every time I revisit Omaha, I always make sure to eat at Romeo's.
I Love My State in Minnesota ❤ I Was Born In Ethiopia .
This summer was weird … we were at 100s in July and we’ve had below zero winters lol
ALL winters is below zero hello !!🤣😂
I thought you'll would mention Mystic lake casino hotel for sure
How are the Uber prices? I’m going in April from NYC. Just wondering about the prices. Please and thank you.
Please do Atlanta. I don't know anything about this city
I could see my house on lake Minnetonka😂
The population of the metropolitan area is 4 million, not 3 million as you stated.
Please do have more videos
No mention of midtown market?
“Xin chào” - Hello from sunny Vietnam.
Was the Mall of America built on the site of a sports stadium that was torn down in 1982?
the Metropolitan stadium
or just the Met Stadium
Also the Met Center ice arena, home of the former North Stars. Both were torn down for the Mall.
Is Betty dangers county club still opened? I can’t find anything about it on google
No-it’s closed, as its sister restaurant Psycho Suzi’s
How can I migrate to Minneapolis, from Kenya
How could you forget the Wabasha Street caves but add places like Willow River in a whole Different state? The tourist street caves and all the other caves are something incredible
Great suggestion!
@@VentureAddicts The fact that you try to reply to every single one of your comments shows me that you were something special. your editing is very good you’re not shy in front of a camera. there’s no reason why you shouldn’t have 1 million subscribers. Keep up the good work! And what state do you live in ?your very educated about each state for not living there!
Thanks that means so much! We live in Austin Texas and I have been to 42 states so we get around

I hate it here, was planning on leaving but I got sweet raise at my current job so now I'm stuck here.
😂😂😂

Why do you hate it?
👍
What do you mean “previously” considered the largest mall for mall of America. What is bigger?
Not sure, definitely the largest is the US still, sorry
The American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey is now the largest mall in the US. It opened in Nov 2019 and is about 100,000 sq ft bigger than MOA.
seems like you forgot to mention the "House of Balls". Located in the West Bank area of Minneapolis, this is a world known (Atlas Obscura) destination.
She picked some bougie places to eat 😂

The way American society goes on about the cold in Minneapolis is as if there is no whole other, cold country north of it. Imagine living in Winnipeg Manitoba and Saskatchewan and you hear Americans go on about how cold Minnesota is. 🙄
Bruh, it’s cold compared to the rest of the US, and no matter where you go, this is a cold place. Imagine complaining about Winnipeg when Yakutsk exist right next to you. Or Alaska right to your left.
Canada doesn't exist
Winnipeg is like 6 hours from the Minnesota border. I don’t think the climate is gonna be too much different lol
@@xaviercopeland2789 Ehh I grew up in Miami and the cold in Mpls aint even that bad. Its like normal cold. As a kid I thought most places outside Florida had snow and cold for the winter lol
bro if you watch the news a lot of time we are colder then you because of the jet stream
Minnesota lags in personal income, household income, and GDP growth
Minnesota's economic growth has lagged behind the nation's for several years, as indicated by per capita GDP, per capita personal income, and median household income.
Apparently Betty Dangers reopened post-COVID as a private day club (overpriced at that), so maybe one to knock off the list.
You kinda sound like Chills brother
im from minnesota and showing this to my spanish class in barcelona, next video get the facts correct and dont interview fake unfluencers 🤣
ya you know she is getting kick backs
In the word foodie what the heck that’s not even an English word God, humanity and society is getting stupid and also she’s not from Minnesota. She’s from Michigan.
Minneapolis doesn't really get that much snow fyi everyone
If u can dodge crime
27:41…”Minndyinapolis”???
I live an hour away from "the cities" as many of us call it here. There's a lot of reasons people don't go there. The "Murderapolis" nickname has always been one. Needless to say I haven't been around the area myself too much. But if anyone is like myself who is coming from out of town to see a show or event in the area for the night and wants a place to go within walking distance of a venue.... What do you recommend? My friends and I stumbled into Rock Bottom Brewery looking for a bathroom near First Avenue, and it was the best decision we made that day. We now visit it every time we have an event to go to.
Unless you are engaging in illicit activities, there's hardly any reason to worry about violent crime in Minneapolis since, like other major US cities, violent crime occurs primarily in a sub-culture of drugs and gangs. Seriously, there are literally muli-million-dollar condos right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Are these wealthy residents cowering in fear? No, they're regularly going to Brit's Pub, Smack Shack, Orchestra Hall, The Guthrie, Spoon & Stable, The Dakota or several dozen other venues. Violence is always bad. And all of America is in the grip of it right now, not just Minneapolis. But the best thing you can do is just genuinely live your life and grab the joy you deserve.
You’re a clown, stay in the suburbs where the Fox News flows like White Claw
did he get stung by a bee on the eye ?
Exactly
The restaurant Young Joni is pronounced Young Joanie, not Young Johnny. Do your research.
I researched 31 minutes of content, I can’t pronounce something that even locals don’t get right?
@@VentureAddicts Dude, the locals pronounce it correctly. Own your mistakes rather than being an arrogant douche.
Betty Dangers closed a while agp and now the sister spot psycho suzies unfortunately
It’s pronounced “Joe Nee”
The Mall of America is in Bloomington, and Can Can Wonderland is in St. Paul. Paisley Park is in Chanhassen. The State Fair is in Falcon Heights/St. Paul. Franconia Sculpture Park is about an hour from Minneapolis. Come on! This is my first RUclips comment ever too.
Hope it’s your last
That’s like saying it’s dumb to visit the pyramids of Giza from Cairo cause it’s 30 mins away
I Austin whether or not this guy has even been here lol
Salt up the tires? We don't do that here. The salt goes on the roads, you get good tires or snow tires!... Also, NOBODY in Minneapolis or Minnesota calls it the Minne-Apple!... Minneapolis is from Minne = Water ( not Waterfall) and Polic ( City) .....I had 25 more.... but... lot of errors, lots missed. Come visit
Hello handsome
I drove through Minneapolis in 2019 and all I saw were torn-up roads, closed intersections and angry locals. And that was a year before the peaceful arson and looting, and the politicians and celebrities passing through pretending to be African chieftains.
The supposed cold I can handle; it's the structure that's the problem.
What does this place look like after the riots?
Looks pretty damn great to me as I visit a lot of the places mentioned in this video. Even though Minneapolis was the media's epicenter for a while, there was far worse violence in other cities.
woke dumpster fire i doubt astron goes out after dark or leaves the suburbs
i live near the George Floyd incident and cant even tell you how many times i have heard gun shots or neighbors tell me that i have missed
The narrator is hot.
Cool vid, but many mispronounced words, which is fair. Haha
have you ever heard of Lake Calhoun called that 🤣😂
funny he mentioned Boom park that just recently had a massive gang shootout
ya sorry no one goes there
Skip the sculpture garden. It’s a waste of time. I would consider it more of a concept garden than a sculpture garden. Barely anything in there is interesting to look at.
Cool things to do in Mpls? Don't die!!
Psycho Susie’s, and Betty dangers, is gone
after a nice hot Juicy Lucy at Matts Bar you can drive the couple of blocks and see the George Floyd Memorial🤣😂
Between the crime and filth-I suggest a new slogan for Minneapolis-
A Pretty Sh#tty City
I lived in Minnetonka not as good food as Wayzata or Minneapolis or St. Paul. I ate at Maynard’s and they charge for fries with your burger and are barely friendly. Get another representative of Minnesota than the Foodie you asked she doesn’t know anything about Minnesota-NOTHING
hardest thing now days to do in the Cities is not get robbed, shot at, or car stolen
or your balls gitten froze in the winter
Don't come to minneapolis it sucks
Why does it suck?
It doesn’t suck!! What are you talking about!!! Best airport in North America, Mall of America, Minnesota Nice, best park system in the US, short commutes, clean air, clean city, education rivals that of Boston, HIGH levels of diversity, sports teams are great, Twins games are the best stadium experience in North America…
@@antoinettedarling2112 woke dumpster fire
@@jakearsenta2144 you didn't hear the even the MOA have had TWO incidences of gun fire in it? hhmmmm

the F if i would you want him/her/they/them etc.. gender dysmorphic because thats the education they will get
You forgot a few:
- Peer in the windows of Betty Danger's because they went out of business
- Rattle the doors of Brit's Pub because they went out of business (I'm sensing a trend)
- Admire the boarded up buildings on Lake Street that still haven't been repaired since the George Floyd riots
- Enjoy the broken glass, trash, boarded up buildings and graffiti at the George Floyd memorial
- Get robbed on the light rail trains
- Run away from the Somali gangs in the Cedar-Riverside area
- Dodge bullets in North Minneapolis
- Work hard to avoid the homeless camps that are everywhere
- Check out the diversity of the poor people who serve the rich people because, in true Socialist fashion, there is almost no middle class in the city
- Take out a loan to afford the places that Melissa recommends
- Try to drive on streets that were already narrow, but they had to jam a bike path in
It's a wonderful city that I work in every day.
Stolen Land
Dear God💗❤️♥️💕💖💕❤️💞🙏in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the , life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.
Right now I confess Jesus as my Lord. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Amen.

The Gospel of salvation of our souls: 💜💕💖✨💖❤️📖✝️🕎💡💡❤️❤️💞💕💖💕💕💜♥️❤️💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
