DA’s have to have a good working relationship with the police and have friends on all levels so they are not going to go against the police in most cases. One of the few DAs who charged officers in the shooting of an innocent citizen is getting targeted and death threats until this day. DAs should not be prosecuting police officers. A separate agency should handle police cases indefinitely because they have an obvious conflict of interest. I’ve never understood that.

I'm gonna point out that the boyfriend was right as well because he is legally allowed to protect his home and family. The growing disconnect in these types of situations is that citizens are licensed to carry. That's why no knock warrant have to be abolished. The point of my post is that officers have certain protections when it comes to someone shooting at them and that'swhat got them off. But I reiterate, if they hadn't have botched this investigation they would've known the guy they were looking for was already arrested, therefore Ms. Taylor would still be alive. And I stand by what I said, it is heartbreaking that she was killed and they callously stepped over her body saying she's done as if she was a piece of meat. And that her family will grieve M her for the rest of their lives. If you can't see that, there's nothing else to talk about.

The corruption is rampant in that dept. The guy they were after they already had in custody. They lied to get The warrant in hopes to find anything. This is the very thing that put targets on all cops not just the corrupt.
DA’s have to have a good working relationship with the police and have friends on all levels so they are not going to go against the police in most cases. One of the few DAs who charged officers in the shooting of an innocent citizen is getting targeted and death threats until this day. DAs should not be prosecuting police officers. A separate agency should handle police cases indefinitely because they have an obvious conflict of interest. I’ve never understood that.

I'm gonna point out that the boyfriend was right as well because he is legally allowed to protect his home and family. The growing disconnect in these types of situations is that citizens are licensed to carry. That's why no knock warrant have to be abolished. The point of my post is that officers have certain protections when it comes to someone shooting at them and that'swhat got them off. But I reiterate, if they hadn't have botched this investigation they would've known the guy they were looking for was already arrested, therefore Ms. Taylor would still be alive. And I stand by what I said, it is heartbreaking that she was killed and they callously stepped over her body saying she's done as if she was a piece of meat. And that her family will grieve M her for the rest of their lives. If you can't see that, there's nothing else to talk about.
