    Your climb, but with all the trees around you I feel like tying in would have been a food idea. Loving your channel!

    Nope. There isn’t a chance in hell I would have climbed that tree. But I was never desperate for work. I always had enough to keep me busy. Glad there are guys like you that will climb them. Cause I wouldn’t have.

    I was nervous for you from the start but I knew you had published the video so I knew in the end you would be okay. So I’ll keep watching. Be careful out there.

    It's sad that customers sit back and watch the train wreck coming for years then abruptly want someone else to risk their life to fix their problem. Which wouldn't have been a problem at all if they could figure out that trees never come back to life. The die, they start to rot and at some point they become unsafe to climb. The procrastinating homeowners dont care.

      @@VeteranTreeServicebanging you flipline on the tree like that does not let you know how hollow the tree is because it the bark coming off the tree so you just pushing the bark back on to the tree and that is what that hollow sound is not the tree you by better off cutting some bark off then hitting it hopefully that makes sense on how I said it

    All the strength is in the sap wood man, half the tree was missing at the base. No way I would have strapped up. Good work though.

    There just is no good reasoning in not having a high tie in from an adjacent tree, irresponsible to the homeowner, your crew and tour damily regardless of what your "professinal opninion" . Maybe ypu do this if you have to when there is no other option but here there clerlarly is. Just wreckless

  • @Outdoorman32
    @Outdoorman32 4 месяца назад +3

    Seems like unnecessary risk to be climbimg a tree that dead and undresictable when you have safe healthy trees you could climb up and rappell into the dead tree and attactch your lanyard with a 2kn breakaway clip as a catastrophe backup. I mean you obviously did it well and safely, but it could have been done with a extremely more high degree of safety.
    Just curious what your thought process was for going up it solo

    Why didn’t you put a line in the tree next to it instead of climbing that butter stick without a back up

    I like your videos mate but it’s time to learn how to traverse! Even with deadwood that’s a lot of weight on a suspect stump. People who’ve been in the industry learn from their seniors and others misfortunes. I don’t think you have that advantage.
