Haha the animals were extra photogenic for us so that always helps with the shots! Wohoo! Every subscriber counts! It’s awesome to make something that so many people enjoy keeping up with!
According to the Zoo Tycoon game that came out in the early 2000s, Tulsa Zoo was voted "America's Favorite Zoo". Even back then I found that dubious, but that's what they said, lol.

I went to the Tulsa Zoo on June 9th and have a bunch of Shorts on my channel about it. I made videos of every single exhibit, so even though it's been a month and I release several videos every day, I still haven't released them all. I live in Tulsa and have for most of my life and plan to make videos of me visiting more places around here eventually. I've somehow never been to either Philbrook or Gilcrease, for example. I have been to the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, though, which is really cool.
@@MatthewTheWanderer we LOVED the aquarium! And Philbrook and Gilcrease are on our list, but we haven’t been there yet.
What is your favorite exhibit? We went right before the elephant area was fully finished so it’s about time for us to go see the new area! But we love seeing the elephants no matter what zoo we visit 🐘
@@mcpeekadventures I love elephants, too, but the exhibit wasn't finished when I visited, either. The giraffe exhibit is really cool. But, there are lots of cool exhibits, like lions, bears, rhinos, chimps, pigs, and so on. I didn't get to see the kangaroos like you did. And I've never been there in the winter to see the red pandas.

They have a BEAR! From your vid…much better zoo than i imagined. +1 for the chia pet statues.
The bear was awesome! They actually have two different bear exhibits, but the bear in the second one was back in a little cave area sleeping and it was too dark to get good footage of it. Seeing them up close is crazy. I couldn’t imagine running into one out in the wild!
