Suppose there is an artist, who has really created amazing songs and has lot of songs being ready but he is not in the market yet, hence no track record or no reach on the songs yet. At present situation, are the labels only interested in established artists? or Do you think if there is a talent, with lots of ready audio songs to be presented, do you think label would bother to take a call or even entertain him? Isn't that what an A&R is supposed to do, spot the talent and hire him. If a person is already trending, then why do labels require an A&R to find him, he is visible everywhere.
