You have hit the spot with a superb presentation on the carb clean. You deserve double brownie points. Thanks alot.

This is a really good video. You did a good job of recording everything, getting good angles to see whole parts and where they should go, and you’ve explained everything well.

Thanks for this. Between this video and a few others, I got the carb cleaned out on our Spirit 750 thats been sitting for 5 years. It wouldn't even start before the carb cleaning. Afterwards, its running perfectly now and getting between 45-50 mpg!! Better than my chevy avalanche getting 13 when driving back and forth to work every day.

well done video. note : get a couple of J.I.S. screwdrivers, they make removing those "phillips" screws a breeze.

Thanks, I want to get to mine but I’ve been reluctant because it does look like a bit much to get back together properly

Hi Dawson. How often should we be cleaning the carb? Thank you 🙏🏼

Dawson's Garage, great video presentation! I'm about to get a 1981 Honda cb650 inline 4 cylinder motorcycle, with ONLY 31k miles on the clock. It's been sitting & not ridden for the past 20 years. My friend bought it brand new in '81. He's a long haul trucker from New Mexico keeping it covered in the dessert SW. This video is a major help to me with restoring it. I, also, spotted to t-shirt. I'm here in S. Florida (Lauderhill) south end of Ft. Lauderdale. How can I get a couple of those t-shirts?(I'm a 3XL) Doug Radowick

How can you tell if you need a new acceletator pump??

I apologize for the late response. But anyway the diaphragm is usually the part that disintegrates. Hold it up to a light source and see if you can see thru it or see a tear in the rubber part.

    It's not hard to do.
