Hey Mr. Hoffman. College student here, loving your lessons so far. I was wondering if your accompaniment in this video was in 3/4 time signature? That's what I picked up but I wanted to ask out of curiosity. Thanks

Ok . . . I'm a sixty year old man who happened to stumble upon this lesson/video. When I was living in the Tampa area 15 years ago, I purchased a 1907 Chickering baby grand. I took lessons for 1 1/2 years, was making steady progress, then I lost my job, was out of work for 2 1/2 years. Sadly . . . it was like someone had turned a light switch off, I had to immediately cancel my piano lessons and I quit playing entirely a week later, the wind had been kicked out of me. I even gave my piano away, as I could find no one to buy it. Now . . . here I am 15 years later, wearing reading glasses, and am wondering if I should pick it back up again. Having just watched only this single video, I am left quite impressed with your teaching methods and style. May I ask, do you tailor your lessons for adults as well? Thank you for this, I believe you are making a HUGE contribution to our world.

Thank you! Our lessons are all geared toward children, but we have had people of all ages learn from them.
