I’m spraying with our 96 5240 today, 10/04/21 It has 2700hrs and with the SCV flow control, spraying a Centrifugal hydraulic pump is a breeze, adjust the flow to set boom pressure We added a Q66 loader a few years back with Global attachments No real complaints I replaced the reverse solenoid, SCV seals, outer tie rod ends, fuel sending unit Also added a A/C condenser fan to keep the air conditioner cold
How could they replace the 1066 if that was made from 1971-1976 also how could it replace the 2090 if that was produced from 1979-1983 and case having bought IH in 84
I believe they are referencing that they would replace those models on farms, not in the company lineup. That’s why he said “tractors like” and also referenced the 4050 Deere
@@theatlanticdairyman7917 and you got 5500 hrs out of them over 10 years. Remember those are not rated hours either, they are key. Every last one we had grew grape fruits after no more then 5000 hrs.
Our 5230 has over 10k hours
But keeps going. My fav tractor over my lifetime

Wiring harness simplified compared to the 5100 series. Less sensors and switches. Old red wrench
Is this comparable to a John Deere 7600?
Yes it is possible to compare them.

@@Blazer-cr5ci that makes sense I had to watch it again to put that together
The magnum is today's 66 series tractors
the dt710, quite possibly the worst tractor tire ever built.
Yep that’s why I call them good for one years
Why do you say that? We had them on our 7220 magnum and got 5500hrs out of them over 20 years
