How many “magnolia crappie” do you think have been caught out of the lakes you mentioned in Mississippi? I’d say it’s not that many, considering a true magnolia crappie is generally stocked in smaller bodies of water due to its unique triploid design making it completely sterile.
That's an optimistic crappie net. :D

@@LetsFishTV Thanks. I was actually there this weekend fishing. Water was super high. Fishing was challenging to say the least.
Looks like they are mostly blacks to I didn't think Mississippi had good population of blacks its always white crappies every one shows off. That's awesome really wish I could spend a year crappie fishing down there

Bay Springs ain’t what it used to be. It’s over fished and over-rated. Ask any local if it’s as good as it was even 5 yr ago.
Yes go to Bay Springs and stay away from Grenada, the fish aren't there like they are at Bay Springs.
