Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull are the most wonderful sounding performers and there is absolutely no other band that produces music like they do. Long live IA and JT 😁

It's just fucking obvious that the name Jethro Tull was insisted on by the label because Ian Anderson does not sell albums. No one wants to hear songs that are in Latin or contain whole stanzas of the names of corporations and brand names. Even though the name Jethro Tull really doesn't mean anything anymore now that Ian has made it all about his gigantic ego.

He would always get a record deal, even if he decided to call his band "The Refurbished Lollipops". I didn't mind the few Latin words on Homo Erraticus at all, it has always been about the music and not the lyrics for me anyway.

He doesn't exude big emotions ... so I guess he must just hate it that the first album that was a really big seller and that popularized Jethro Tull was Aqualung that is full of emotion and rage and anger and protest? He is negative and critical, which is one of the reasons I like Jethro Tull, but he works so hard at hiding his self ... and to that extent his music if a false failure, no matter how wonderful the actual music is. It would be nice if he had the guts to get them in sync again. And God ... what a fucking racist on the Latin world, Spanish and Italian and me, me, me, says the guy who kicked everyone else out of Jethro Tull and make it all about him, him, him.
