Yeah Will, laying new track ideas was in the past for me stressful to say the least with a few choice words! But now I like what Pete Waterman said on his model tv show" enjoy each bit at a time," seeing the end result will be relaxing fulfilment. Your scenery is amazing by the way. Keep it up bud, it's to be enjoyed over a life time I say. All the best, Ken.

Great work on that corner. A LIMA short piece would have probably fitted fine as it's longer than the R610 but you got the flexible piece to work fine. If the Hush-Hush P2 is the hardest loco to work on the track, then the rest should work fine! Unless your camera reverses images, most trains will be going the other way...if we're being proto-typical. The 'Lift-Out Sections' seem to be a popular feature, Will. Nice going sir. Cheers!

Good evening Will, a few observations if I may? Firstly I love the way you town scenery lifts off the layout, note to self good idea that I need to copy! Secondly, I hope you will replace the old fishplates with new ones. Thirdly and with no sincerity when the video was on fast forward it sounded like Sweep from Sooty and Sweep was having a tantrum, absolutely brilliant effect. Finally do you have any plans to fasten the track down to the baseboard? As always a very entertaining and educational video that proves that it is not only me who talks to myself. The only trouble I have is that when I am in discussion with myself I always lose the argument! Peter

Lol, Sooty and Sweep. It's just me talking to myself! The track is semi-fastened down at the moment. I intend to replace the points eventually so not permanently fixing it down just yet. :)

Will, I enjoyed watching you have "fun" sorting out your curved track. Just a couple of thoughts, if I may?
    1. Why not cut some slots in your backscene, so you can access the track for cleaning, etc. This would save you from having to lift the scenery to get behind that section.
    2. Do you ever use those four points in the hidden section for trains to change lines? If not, why not totally remove them and just plain line that section.
    Regards, Peter.

I don't often have access to the back, so cutting holes in the backboard wouldn't really work, but it's a good idea for if I have access back there. As for the points , I used to use them however their main purpose now is to transfer power between the lines. I do intend to replace them eventually. :)

Flexi track does like to wander if you don't pin it down far more often than you think. Needs tons of pins or the loco going round the bend will push it out of kilter. Don't ask me how I know!
You could try a bit of banking on the curves. Slip some 1mm card under the outer rail before you pin just to put some camber on it.

Fantastic work! But shouldn't the train/engine be running the opposite way? Cheers from down under. Wally
