Having marched and won with this corps, I get so freaking emotional when I watch them. All the feelings of triumph and despair from a season of working harder than I ever had before come flooding back almost 30 years later. It's incredible, it feels like yesterday.
+sphinxman90 Would you imagine that the judges are given the plans for each groups show for that year so that they DON'T get in the way? They would have to know something about a show so that they don't miss anything (like the snare line in 2000 immediately into the quints segment 3 seconds later 15 yards away).
Definitely should've won brass in 2001, if nothing else besides perc. 2015 was just a highly competitive year, but they should've gotten WAY more credit.
Unconventional Box 2015 I say this all the time. Watching again because I’m in the mood. 2007 I drove to Pasadena from Texas because I KNEW they were going to win. What a sham.
4:57-5:30 gave me chills. 2 line company lines to hittin those straight 12 lines, to 1 company back to the 12 groups, then the drumline joins behimd the one massive company front...omg, I love cadet choreography.
+J. St.Valle Yeah, I was watching the 2000 show on PBS when it used to come on broadcast TV (I've never had cable or satellite)................... I remember that by 0:17 I was crying so much that I couldn't see the screen behind all of the water that was POURING out of my eyes. The cadets GOT ROBBED in 2000.
Andrew Gantt, Are you talking Ponderosa High School in Colorado during the 5A competition? I watched the entire Ponderosa section of that video and didn't see that specific move anywhere.....
Michael Burris: I think it has something to do with the theme of their show that year. It was a tribute to some of the biggest shows of all time I think, and all those corps marched with a left foot step-off.

If you marched them in 84, you have my ring! (check my avatar)
All closers from this era are so special in their own way! FHNSAB!
Watching this in 2024 makes me sad 🥺😔
You forgot the 2005 drum break.
I came to this video expecting that
I think I am most impressed by the percussion field judge not getting trucked starting at 09:34
sphinxman90 Holy crap i'm dying!!! Did you see how he was jumping around?! :P

Glad I'm not the only who thought that! And what pissed me off is that they were within .005 of BD in semifinals in 2007 and then they blew it. Gr...
great corps, always loved them, but S.C.V.' s Fanfare & Allegro will never be surpassed !
2002 was absolutely insane.

The only robbery for the 2000 show was from the highschool they stole the quad solo idea from. Ponderosa '99!
Andrew Gantt,

+nakedfaves It's in the "Blast from the Past" Winter Percussion show. WGI.
These are clips from every year between 2000 and 2011. The championship years are 2000, 2005, and 2011.
Drum judge at 9:45 is a damn pro lmao
the drum breaks in 2008 and 2011 were awesome why arent they there
Awesome!!! Thanks for posting!
2006.. yikes. I truly felt bad for the kids that year, especiallyafter coming off such a landmark season.
no mics pinned to any of the horn soloists
Thank you for including 4:22. :-)

@@alexandra.willitts6988 cadets switched to Bb in 2000
YES @ 7:50
Nothing like the Garfield Cadets of the 60's. They are really good. But, I can't stand listening to them. I like the old sound.
Oh gosh the drum corps shows in the 60s are so boring
y did they step with their left foot in 2003
They should have won in 2007.
Yes @ 4:58-5:40
The only thing is I can't believe I'm saying that
What song is being played at 6:10 ?
