first one was really good. i likes how all around the house there are bedrolls that ur army of followers can use to crash after a long night of drinking, while you and your lover can have fun at the private double bed. it reminds me of vikings show's jarl house !!!
I have to thank you because thanks to you now I know Windpath. I suggest you do more of this series because it saves a lot of time for everybody. Literally, lost lots of hours looking for a cozy house. Also some houses from 1xmiha are quite cozy, like Winter Cove.
Leaf Rest in Riverwood - I keep coming back to it - has a stupid garden system but ignoring that it's very cool, with a fox and bunny in the yard, nice spot, and basic crafting with some perks. Indoor pool and sweat room with perks.
Elianora changed my view on house mods. At first I thought, "who needs house mods?", downloaded one of her houses at whim and now I have a problem what houses from her to install
Winter Cove is another cozy cabin situated not far from the southern gate leading to Bruma & the rest of Cyrodil. I like the loner/ranger style play & a single player home supplemented by hunting, fishing, & camping mods works for me. If you've never tried it, look up The Hideaway. It is a very small but upgrade-able player home set in a cave in the southern Pale, a bit north of Whiterun, near the giant camp Blizzard Rest.
Riverside Lodge is my favorite from this list but recently I started using the mod Lakeview Manor - As It Should Be because I love the area around Lake Illnalta and the mod is a major upgrade to Lakeview Manor that doesn't go over the top. The mod is available on both oldrim and SSE.
I like Breezehome Upgradable & Lakeview Extended. There should be a mod that gives you a fief in the holds that you become Thane of. Similar to Mount & Blade. So if you become Thane of Whiterun: +You get a town hall/player home in Riverwood or Rorikstead. (Similar to a Jarl's longhouse) +You can adjust and upgrade the local economy. +You can "absorb" other locations, like Embershard Mine. Grow a mining business. (for profit or to benefit a faction) +You can add missing merchant-types. +You can hire a tax collector and a steward. +You can trade resources with other towns and villages. Your village may request black-briar mead for example (like a Civ game), so you go to Riften and work out a trade deal with someone representing Maven Black-Briar. You may trade resources for it, or do a quest. Trade is done in bulk, like hearthfire's lumber system. +You can organize political events at your town hall, that puts representatives of other economies all in one place for easy trade, and maybe political advancement. (Inviting a representative from Falkreath counts towards "helping the people of Falkreath") +You can upgrade the defenses, and aesthetics. +You can Hire more guards. +You can add one guild/faction building/outpost. (Companions, Mages, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Blades, Dawnguard, Vampire Coven, Stormcloak or Imperials, Alikr etc.) This will give you additional options when hiring guards. +You can tell your guards to declare the Thalmor, or other factions, an enemy. Increases chance of attacks. Now if you complete the Civil War questline, you get command of Fort Greymoor. Which has similar options as above, but with a stronger military focus. Fort is a higher target for attacks. Major economy in a fort would be weapons and armor crafting and defense. But forts typically consume more than they produce. Keeping your garrison requires many trade deals. Owning a town that produces food or mead is a huge support for your fort. And your fort can provide defensive support for your towns. Why do I always post these massive ideas in RUclips comments?
That's an amazing idea. The problem I see is that it's massive enough to be an entirely separate game within TES which will probably increase development cost and time.. such a shame. I can see a more simple version as a dlc though.
It could be structured into Beyond Skyrim. I don't know what their end game is. But to simplify I would start with Riverwood. I would call it the "Better Thane of Whiterun" mod, or something. Much of the aspects of this idea have been done before, (Windstad Mine, Landlord, Tundra Defense, Blackthorn etc.) it's just a matter of blending a number of things together. The biggest part is bringing talented people on board.
I skipped the first bit when I saw mod like mount and blade and read the description. Looked back at the first bit to see the name so I could go and look it up on nmm. Fml.
LC Build Your own Noble House allows you to make your own town (called Fellburg) and a massive castle. The attention to detail is awesome, and you have a lot of building option. However, it sadly doesn't give you all of those coo Mount and Blade-esque gameplay features. Hopefully Bethesda might do settlement building in Elder Scrolls 6, and incorporate some similar things.
This is one of my favorite topics, comfortable player homes. I don't care for having every crafting table or items. I just want them comfortable and relaxing. Good job Koubitz!
I want comfortable, small and usefull houses. That means all crafting tables, enough storage, maybe 2 armor stands and at least 2 or 3 beds. Or it wont be perfect usefull for me ;)
Mammoth Manor is one of my favorites. It's like a slightly smaller version of Riverside Lodge. It's got room for both kids and followers, and is located near Falkreath, overlooking the lake.
Subbed. Found your channel when I was looking for vids on Beyond Skyrim Bruma. I like that you are showing things that other usually do not. Can't wait to try out that Windpath house. Elianora (sp?) is a great modder also so thanks for featuring her work. I have used one of her homes in Fallout 4. Glad to see she is also doing Skyrim home mods.
Oh man, I'm the same way, I love cozy house mods, it's a shame not that many of them are endorsed. I actually came here from the Aetherial Cottage mod, and subscribed.
Just got wind path last night and my god it’s the perfect house. There are a lot of features like setting the table for dinner which your companions can join you, eating and drinking animations (although the eating is just bread) plenty of customization with small details, three bedrooms not including your bedroom, a grill in the kitchen, laying down on the bed animation, a nice basement, opening windows for more light (doesn’t show you the outside), turning on lamps at least the one above your bed, a desk next to your bed where you can take out either an alchemy set or an enchanting set and than put them away, a lute that plays tavern music, and probably a bunch of other stuff I haven’t found yet. It’s super cozy and the perfect size, again 4 bedrooms in total. It even has only one mannequin with a weapon rack above it, which was a personal thing I wanted because I only have one set of armor that I wear. The only thing that I don’t like is that you can’t adopt which would of made the house the ultimate house for me. Also if you have the Lucien mod while in the house he follows you like your out in the world. Don’t part ways with him, he’ll go back to falkreath, instead tell him to wait right there, than he will interact with the house and go off to do his own thing. I haven’t tried it with other companions yet but I’ll assume it’s the same until I do. Also on a side note, the house is much brighter than it is the video. I don’t know why it looks that dark, could be an older version of the house.
So far the Breezehome and Lakeview are my favorites! :) But now I must acquire more house mods! seeing some here for the first time. I just recently got Skyrim remaster for the xbox next gen
Windpath and Vikings Longhouse are also available on SE and XBox and Routa has 2 Versions btw, 1 for a neutral Warrior Type and the Stormcloak Version. Vikings Longhouse came for SE 1 Day after this Video. :) Wind Path can be aquired via River Rock SE which places a new Village northeast of Ivarsted or can be downloaded as standalone, i would suggest using them both tho as River Rock is a very nice addition to the area and Wind Path fits right in. Aukmat also made another (sadly really just one other) House that People really should know and will certainly love: *Leaf Rest* sitting directly in Riverwood and i can not stress this enuff, but you should use it combined with JK'S Riverwood/Skyrim and T'Skyrims Riverwood (a JKs Riverwood Addon) doing so makes Riverwood a place you dont want to ever leave again! An if you want another Elianora Mod added to Riverwood, then you need the "Beginner's Shack in Riverwood" also known as "Vuoksi" which places a very nice small Hunter and Allrounder themed Shack outside Riverwood right of the Road coming from Helgen, which is where the Key to the Shack is to be found.
You forgot my absolute favourite. Holmwood is one of the coziest house mods I've ever played with. It's one of those house mods I love to have in every playthrough, even when I do not play a vampire hunter.
That first house mod shown had a little board game sitting on either a pelt or a bed... I have that board game and it is actually a game played by the early vikings- That is incredibly accurate!!!
Elianora's a member of the Creation Club. She's on Beth's payroll now, so she'll be getting her compensation. I am a little sad she seems to be focusing more on FO4 atm. Maybe Bethesda can get her to make some more shinies for Skyrim again...
From what I understand, it's exactly the microtransaction system you fear. You convert your money to credits, and use those credits to buy new armour, weapons, monsters, housing and other features. In the trailer for the Creation Club, Bethesda showed Dwarven Mudcrabs, the Chinese Stealth Suit and a Survival Mode for Skyrim (amongst other things), priced between 150-500 credits or so, if I recall correctly.
I have a Fallout 4 season pass, bought before the game was even out and I feel screwed over by this. Bethesda promised me at the time that "for a one-off fee will get you automatic access to any DLC released for the game". I wonder how they're going to describe the bigger stuff they release for Fallout 4 on Creation Club so that it counts as "not DLC, it just looks and plays and has our logo on it like DLC".
There's no certainty that there will be 'bigger stuff'. Personally, I doubt the Creation Club will get anything Dragonborn/Far Harbour in size. If anything that size does get released, it probably won't be made entirely in-house, but by ambitious modders and third-party developers. Even with a season pass, I'd probably pay for an Obsidian-made Fallout project.
That sucks. I much prefer Skyrim to Fallout 4. Still, I'll echo my original statement: here's hoping that the Bethesda Creation Club guys can get her into Skyrim again xD
A shame that I can't possibly like Elianora houses, because I always get annoyed when I see something laying around, that I can not pick up. That thief home in particular, looks pretty useful.
there's one house maker on the nexus called Ld50365 who makes buildable homes and i l o v e them. they all have trophy rooms and i'm a big hoarder/collector in my playthroughts so i need that autosort and ten billion armor racks. the first one i fell in love with was when i was playing a scholar who was real into the dwemer -- i wanted a dwarven player home that wasn't a castle and Ld50365's silverstead was perfect. most of them are also family friendly, which i love bc i still love adopting kids

Well hopefully I'm not too late, so here's a tutorial. First, make a bethesda account, and sign into it on your Xbox. Then go to the lists of mods (try most popular and highest rated) or search mod tags in the search bar. When you find a mod you want, click on download, wait for it to finish and your done with that one. You will probably end up getting a lot, and if you do then you will need to adress the load order. The mods will be automatically ordered in the order you downloaded them, so reorder them into any one you want. If a mod tells you to place the mid in a certain place, then do it. I recommend bunching similar mods together in different categories like graphic mods, house mods, npc ai mods, etc. Next you want to have the categories in the right order. Place things you want to overwrite other things with near the bottom, since they would then be loaded last. These include new locations, textures, etc. If you want more details, head to websites which tell you all the details behind load order. I hope I helped!
Hello, I recently discovered your channel during my Skyrim modding sessions and you're doing a really great job ! I have a little question concerning your grass mods, I love the yellow grass you get arround whiterun. I'm rocking verdant right now but it's quite different from yours. Hope I get an answer, cheers !
Brb I gotta go install them all and be super happy when I stumble across them after I forget they exist
Dammit the background music made go back playing TW3, i'll check out the mods in a month or so!

I'd like something similar to corvo bianco from the witcher 3 or something similar to kaer morhen (also from the witcher 3).
Old rim
I’m using that tomorrow

Hello, I recently discovered your channel during my Skyrim modding sessions and you're doing a really great job !
I have a little question concerning your grass mods, I love the yellow grass you get arround whiterun. I'm rocking verdant right now but it's quite different from yours.
Hope I get an answer, cheers !
