  • A dive into the past, we all had one in our younger years... well most of us anyways. You'd be lucky to find one in between all the NERF stuff in the isles today. I was having trouble finding one, so it was time to hop on CAD and make my own. This thing's a blast! AND a blast from the past!
Surprisingly accurate! You can find out how accurate it is by jumping over to Printables or Thingiverse (I won't judge...) and downloading the model yourself! All parts are printed, except the rubber bands, obviously. I was able to find these at the local Harbor Freight for something like 2 or 3 bucks... Hours of Fun!
Right Handed or Left Handed, it doesn't matter, this thing is ambidextrous. Print multiples and have competitions, or I guess you could just print one and practice up for any carnival games you may be attending soon.
I have some plans of making add-ons to dazzle and give more appeal to different styles, check back often to the model sites. Don't know if these upgrades will be video worthy, well maybe a short? We'll have to see.

Is the print direction in the files or the way you do it in You Tube better?

I'd go with the youtube direction, it worked on my ender 3 without supports that way. TBH I'm not sure which direction the files themselves are oriented... which slicer are you using?

how is your board so sticky

I use a glue stick for some stubborn prints. There is probably a bunch of residual glue on it for the prints I don't need it for. Sometimes i wish it wasn't so sticky, lol

i’ve been printing this and the trigger spring piece snapped🫤
i’m reprinting at 100% infill so hopefully that helps
also, what size drill bit do you recommend for the filament hole

The Joys of Printing! At least it was a small part...
The trigger, the revolve star and the pins were the only things I printed solid. The other parts I kept a considerably large wall (3mm) to give it some heft. Possibly printing as a shell made it less resistant to flexing without breaking? Are you using PLA?
For the filament drill size, it was a loose fit with a 3/32 inch drill bit and my 1.75mm-ish filament diameter. A dab of superglue held it in place. Maybe 5/64 inch would be tighter? You could start with the 5/64 inch and if it doesn't fit, upsize to the 3/32 inch. Good Luck, Let me know how it works out for you.

Mine just snapped too... but it lasted an impressively long time! (I didn't break it, someone else did though LOL)
