Those are a great pair but assuming you have the power supply to back it up, i would save for a 7800xt or 7900gre/4070 super in the future for your upgrade path. Or the 5070 if that turns out to be good.
been using chatgpt to help me out and it is says that the amd is bad for cs2 or val cus of is latency since nvidia brings the nvidia reflex. any thoughts?
i have a question . i can get the 7700xt for 418euros, the 6800xt for 466euros, the 7900 gre for 529euros and the 4070 super for 503euros which one should i pick for 1440p gaming?
All of them seem to be good for 1440p. So it will really depend on your budget and features I am not form Europe but rather the USA. So if those prices are accurate I would not get the 7700XT at its current price of 423 euros as the you could get the more superior older 6800XT for about 50 euros more. The benefit with 6800XT is that it performs similar to the RTX 4070 and has 16GB VRAM making it very future proof for 1440p gaming. The only bad thing about it is that you do lose AV1 encoding if you care about streaming. Another bad thing about it is power efficiency it uses way more power than 7700XT and RTX 4070. Now whether to upgrade to 7900GRE is a debate on one hand it macths the RTX 4070 super, has AV1 encoding,16GB VRAM, and the power consumption is reasonable. On the other hand it sucks in ray tracing . But if you don’t care about that than 7900GRE is good. Another good option is 7800XT as it is just a tad slower than 7900GRE but may be 40 euros cheaper. (Note if it’s the same price then 7900GRE is better value) Now for the RTX 4070 super Ehh it’s tough call. On one hand the Nivdia features such as DLSS and Ray tracing are decent. But the VRAM on it is just bleh. It should have had 16GB VRAM. The only benefit here is that the power consumption beats all the of AMD Cards and DLSS. So my choice would be either the 6800XT if you want the best value. 7900GRE or 7800XT for better performance and future proofing. RTX 4070 super if you want the best power consumption saving and Nivdia features. 16GB VRAM is now ideal for 1440p future proofing.
Hey! I’d personally buy the 7900 gre, it’s extremely reliable and performs great on high settings for both comp/fps games and graphic demanding games like cyberpunk
Of course but yeah in my opinion if I were to choose I would get the 7900GRE. For 60 euros more than the 6800XT. Why now get the better product that matches or beats the RTX 4070 super in rasterization. Also the 16GB VRAM with a true 256 bit memory bus and AV1 encoding makes it great for 1440p gaming and streaming along with doing VR for 5 years before having to lower settings If you plan on getting a quest 3S or Quest 3 that GPU runs well on virtual desktop with AV1. Also that GPU will still be revelant 5 years later.

Well you might be surprised but the 7900GRE and 3090 perform neck to neck. So in my case I would base this decision on whether you value power and features. The 7900GRE is more power efficient and you are getting it brand new meaning you won’t have issues with it. Also if you plan on streaming it has the AV1 encoder. The RTx 3090 supports DLSS and Nivdia features and has a crazy 24GB VRAM buffer. But it consumes way more power and No AV1 encoder. Then there is risk with used components. But If I didn’t factor in power and AV1 then I would pick up the 3090 at $400. At $400 it’s an excellent value.
I see. Well how about this is electricity cheap where you are living. If so then an extra $5-10 per month on your electric bill won’t hurt too much by going with RTX 3090. Otherwise if electricity if expensive then 7900GRE may save you in the long run. It may be expensive but will return with power savings. Personally if power didn’t matter I would pick the RTX 3090 and call it a day.

@@StrykerEXE I got a rtx 3080 for 373 USD which is 559 AUD recently
@bindogaming791 thats a really good deal, congrats!
i have a question . i can get the 7700xt for 418euros, the 6800xt for 466euros, the 7900 gre for 529euros and the 4070 super for 503euros which one should i pick for 1440p gaming?
All of them seem to be good for 1440p. So it will really depend on your budget and features
I am not form Europe but rather the USA.
So if those prices are accurate
I would not get the 7700XT at its current price of 423 euros as the you could get the more superior older 6800XT for about 50 euros more.
(Note if it’s the same price then 7900GRE is better value)
Now for the RTX 4070 super Ehh it’s tough call.
@@haz1101 you went in so much details mate , thanks . i think i got it, you helped
Of course but yeah in my opinion if I were to choose I would get the 7900GRE. For 60 euros more than the 6800XT. Why now get the better product that matches or beats the RTX 4070 super in rasterization. Also the 16GB VRAM with a true 256 bit memory bus and AV1 encoding makes it great for 1440p gaming and streaming along with doing VR for 5 years before having to lower settings
If you plan on getting a quest 3S or Quest 3 that GPU runs well on virtual desktop with AV1.
Also that GPU will still be revelant 5 years later.
Is 7800 xt good enough cause the availability of 7900 gre is low
yes definitely
How about 4070 Ti?
between a 4070 (cheapest is CAD $740) and a 4070 super (cheapest is CAD $800) what would be a better price/perf?
...
wait, I just realized that with that money I can get a 7900gre lol
but I still kinda wanna know abt the 4070...
4070 Super, it's well worth the extra $60 CAD
Which models are the cheapest tho?

I got the Rx 7800 xt faster Vram than the Rx 7900GRE
If you want cheap gpu for 4k u can buy rx6800 second hand
In my opinion for very High end 1440p Is Better 4080 than 4070ti super.
In my country 4070ti super cost similar a 4080 but non perform like the 80 .
If you can spend 800/900 € for 70ti s ,Better spend 1000 for 4080s ....obviusly this Is my opinion
I went with a 6650xt in may and i love it. I get 144 fps in hogwarts legacy max settings
Picked up a 7900xtx taichi for 759.99!!!
@@jeffhawkes5353 crazy good deal bro
am on rtx 2080ti but planning for 4060ti 16gb
5080 such value if you can wait more 5080 ti even more value patience required.
Highly, I would not buy a 4080 S or a 4090 atm knowing the 50 series is coming and the 5080 will beat a 4090 for less. I could be wrong but i doubt it
On the Nivdia the max I would go is 4070TI super anything more than that and I’m waiting
@ that’s good for 1440p. 4k you will need higher
It depends on the resolution you’re playing at also a 4080 super should hold it’s value pretty well, just maybe losing a couple hundred bucks.
@ I still would wait. Buyer’s remorse is a thing knowing new gpus are coming
Is a 3090 used at 400 $ worth or is a 7900 gre at 550$ better? for 1440P
I know for 1440p 16GB VRAM is ideal.
However 24GB vram does give nice future proofing along with VR and machine learning.
@@haz1101 was thinking about the 100W difference in power still undecided
@@haz1101 Holly this is a decent response i might be closer to deciding between the two. Thanks
Bro ive been waiting for your o11 review haha
@@Makimakimaki274 it’s coming, I received it a short time ago and I’ve been making other videos, it will be ready for next week for sure

In India rx 7700 xt is about $500
same in Sweden. (Well, the cheapest one that I could find on Amazon, was 460$)
In the USA 7700XT goes for around $330 USD.
best 1440p for 349.... nope! for 40 more you get the real best 1440p less then 400 gpu the goat rx6800, rx7900gre? no 50 more for a rx7900xt cmon 4gb more for 50-100 is insane! best 4k a 7900xtx... yes with upscaling without its a highend for 1440p!
I don't want to spend to much money i just wanna play open world games at 2k and i play more fps warzone and others is good ryzen 7 7800X3D and rx 7900 GRE i saw this gpu preform better from 4070 ti 5 fps so?
