Okay, I listened to this whole video essay and a couple things made me pause and go “What…??”
1) The narrative voice over sounds like an AI. It claims that it’s been a fan of the series since launch yet can’t seem to be consistent on the pronunciation of the names of the main characters. Example saying ALL MIGHT as two words rather then how it’s pronounced in the show as Allmight. Also it’s wildly different on izuku and Dekus names
Saying I-Zuku and Deeku multiple times. If this isn’t an AI voice over then I have some series doubts as to weather the narrator is actually a fan that’s been watching the series from Jump as those two names aren’t that hard to pronounce with consistency.
Seems like a small nitpit but it genuinely kept me from enjoying the content and further kept me from hitting the sub button. Hopefully this feed back can help with better videos in future.
