I have an entire binder of VERY RARE holographic Pokémon cards. Charzaird. Blastoise. Ninetails. Arcanine. Nidoking. Mew too. Clefable. Rapidash. Lapris. Zapados, Articuno, and a whole book of the original 2000 OG vintage japenese Pokémon cards.

I love opening packs and completing sets but evolutions I think I have to give up on as I’m not paying $30 for a dang booster pack. Can barely find them in stores anymore either. I went one morning and it was a line of 30 people that just were 40 year old rejects that still live with their parents buying out the stock to resell. It’s tough out here
When this set first released I got the reverse and holo charizard in one etb and was so gassed, im 23 now so I was around 19 at the time, pokemon was my break from uni at the time
I’m 31 and I actually have the 1st edition 1999 original holographic charzaird lol it’s worth about 300,000 because it’s in mint condition, and I’ve let value build over the years. I was collecting when I was 9 all the way to 13 and in those years, I got over 1,000 booster packs, and have hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of the original non misprint 1999 Pokémon cards. Being a female, you wouldn’t believe it.
I remember buying that charizard etb from evolutions and pulling just a plain charizard. No reverse, no holo, it was just a regular rare and I still bounced through the walls lol
When I was younger I got my first Pokémon pack, an evolutions one, and I pulled the full art blocks grit. The thing about that is that I didn't know it was rare! 😅
