Hyro,, we are going to Aruba after many visits before to vacation again. We will go to see the murals which look amazing. An enterprising Aruban should be offering walking tours of this area. Many tourists would gladly pay to be escorted on a tour. You are doing an outstanding job of promoting Aruba with your videos!

I never got to see the Iguana Mural you mentioned @29:01. I’ve seen pictures of it and it looked freaking awesome. I always enjoy going to San Nicolas, it has such a great vibe to it.

And Hello Marleen nice to see you in person 😀 San Nicolas is the opposite of the other side of the island (palm beach etc) and thats what i like about it..diversity..theres a piece for everyone on the island I love the Art Work ..murals( very talented people).im a fan of art period..as i was looking at the video..i remember me and gf walking in those same streets and being amazed.. It's so deserted at the same time..and its sad to see many Abandoned building Etc..San nicolas has very good potential to be the Hip Side..of the island..without the hipsters 🥴 Very informative! Thank you Scaga Scaga! I see potential in so many things & places here but San Nicolas is certainly one of the top. There aren't many places to sit and eat/drink but the few they have are all good! I really hope the Art Fair can make a come back this year!

Fun fact.That spider guy with the the book is a west african God. Anasi the trickster the God of all knowledge of stoies. He came to the Caribbean with the slaves. Very important character in african Caribbean culture. Also, O'Neil's is amazing. Best ox tail on the planet

In this particular one, San Nicolas streets are often empty. As for the other ones, the downtown area is struggling with sales the last few years. Lots of the commercial activities have moved to the Palm Beach or other areas so it's less centralized now. I personally do like the Oranjestad and San Nicolas areas, I feel they have more of that old local feeling (especially SN).

Bernard van de Veen Zeppenveld straat - It's right next to the San Nicolas police station and just behind the San Nicolas Gas Station.
