Cluster? Bonkers? Well, Even with all its exaggerations and gold chrome Great Goldran really looks much more majestic and "normal" than most of the sentai combinations of the past years.
The full combined mode actually has 29 missile slots. That is if u include the slots behind the lion paws and the slots on his shin-guns. That's a lot of F***ing missiles.
14:14 Okay, this Great Goldran combine mode is probably like a Super Sentai Engine-Oh G8 territory: Definitely a conversation starter. If I saw that thing in real life, I would probably just be laughing while walking away from it.
10:30 I thought they would form arms, but, apparently, whatever country that show came from likes making giant robots combine by one turning into big shoes just attaching to the other robot.
Got him and love him. Excellent figure. Question tho: were you not counting the flip up leg missiles in your count as well? If you've got Fire and Power Dagwon I'd love to see your review for them. I've got all the Dagwon mecha (my favorite Brave show) and Super Fire Dagwon is one of my favorite of all time figures (kinda blatant though huh?). Another fun review! Can't wait to see more Yuusha Goodness!
I do like the rocket skis, but they really couldn't come up a better use for the hind legs of the lion and the missile pods? Could have attached the missile pods to the thighs and the hind legs to the shoulder armor, between the shoulder and the wings.
the little jet i think have some leg poseability, the ones that are used for the combination with the lion, more than just split the legs, and knee articulation, VERY limited but its there
LOL Leon Kaiser got revenge at the end for your miss-information, it's 'Sky Leon Kaiser' not 'Sky Sora Kage'. :D You forgot about Great Goldran's leg missiles which make it 22, they're not called 'Gold Knights' on the show, your confusing those with the four 'Silver Knights' and that iPhone camera's sound is OK, but not as clear as your normal camera. Otherwise great review. :)
***** Yes but that name is not official, if Sora Kage combines with Goldran to become Sky Goldran, it makes sense that that Sora Kage's combination with Leon Kaiser would create Sky Leon Kaiser. CobraCommanderFTW all ready did a review of these toys and in that review he correctly called his combination Sky Leon Kaiser, it just makes more sense that way, rather then calling it by the name of Lean Kaiser's acquired backpack.
You see that two holes on Kaiser's back? Above those orange buttons? That's where those fins you put on Goldran's head belong. They should not be on Goldran's head except when three of the robots combine
I think calling this a cluster is a bit unfair, outside of the shoes which look pretty good upfront and the lion bow you end up with something that doesnt look nearly as bad as some of sentai's most recent combinations.
Did Takara design the Brave series figures? They're so behind the G2/Beast Wars figures they were putting out at the same time. They're just G1 bricks. Disappointing for 1995 figures.
how is that disappointing? Certainly not behind Beastwars where loose ball joints are everywhere. But I guess it is just personal preference, but it is unfair to say it is bad.
I'm not saying its bad. It looks cool enough, but it's surprising that a 1995 figure is so brickish. Especially when Takara was putting out much more articulated figures at the same time in other lines.
+therangersrule68 maybe brave shows weren't airing where you lived but in Korea the brave series toys sold like hotcakes so much well into mid 00's. The shows had reruns until mid 00's thanks to the toy sales. There's a reason why most reviewers get the Sonokong (KR) versions instead of the Takara (JP) ones.
Great Goldran is one of my absolute favourite display pieces. And probably the one I've gotten the most compliments for.
Cluster? Bonkers? Well, Even with all its exaggerations and gold chrome Great Goldran really looks much more majestic and "normal" than most of the sentai combinations of the past years.
No matter what robot you're looking at, a bow and arrow ALWAYS makes it cooler! =P
Heee. Best part of the video starts at 16:25...
Im glad you put that time stamp. I laughed myself shitless thanks to that XD
Leon kaiser's robot feet actually stay down. they only fold flush with the heel spurs for combined shoe mode, oddly enough.
Loen Kaiser needs to party with Liokaiser!
What's Japanese for "You'll shoot your eye out, kid"?
The entirety of the Brave Series = Awesome Overkill.
"あなたは目を撃つだろう、子供 That's how!
3:57 drop in quality if anyone wanted to know.
The literal German translation of Leon Kaiser is Lion Emperor.
that thing has enough gold to put a Gold Watcher from Dark Deception into a gold coma. when that happens best to bring out the Reaper Nurses.
It's 29 as the shin cannons count as well
31. wrist cannons
I'm sorry, but the way you yelped in the end, XD I couldn't breath.
These Goldran toys are I think the first Sentai-type toys you've reviewed that I actually think are pretty cool. Nice!
The full combined mode actually has 29 missile slots. That is if u include the slots behind the lion paws and the slots on his shin-guns. That's a lot of F***ing missiles.
I love this piece too! it's so huge it's insane but so fun!
I just laughed to the point of tears. Props to you good sir.
every video that I watched from you I like. and I haven't disliked any of them.
I love how excessively ludicrous it is.
He blinds his enemies to death. Thats his power

AJ Lord

so here's the gold trio, don't suppose we'll ever see reviews of guns mc train, god silverion, and CAPPIN SHAHRK?
he doesn't have the sharky but he has god silverion... i don't know when is he going to review it. Probably soon.
The jet guy is kinda like star sabers mold (mainly saber)
I laughed too hard at the end…lol great review Spada
the little jet i think have some leg poseability, the ones that are used for the combination with the lion, more than just split the legs, and knee articulation, VERY limited but its there
As a lion, the feet for the robot looked like... something else... like big lion balls.
29 missiles. You forgot the knee guns.
31. the wrist cannons too dont forget about that
i laughed so hard at the end
Welcome back
merge sequence reminds me of the Thunderstorm megazord from Ninja Storm.
i count 31 points of firing. the three on the great archery, the shin guns, the six on the shoes, the 18 on the shoulders, and the two wrist guns.
Great Goldran looks a little bit Of Predaking from Transformers. Especially the wings and the lionhead.
I'd be affraid that this thing would crumble to dust eventually.
I'm actually quite surprised that it looks that good in cluster combination mode.
Leon Kaiser has a long golden mane...does that make him a super sayian 2? lol
No it means he's a lion XD
this robot is a badass of a golden robot
Thank god GPS does not plague these toys!
There is also flip up cannons on his knees
O crud. I had this when I was a kid. Except it was a cheap one and I lost all the parts. Good times
Its like that Lion knew you were gonna talk shi about its bow form
the combined mode with sora kage is sky leon kaiser but i get why you didn't know that it was never used on the show
Do more of this kind of toy plz and where can I find it
Leon+Kaiser=Leon Kaiser
Do Brave figures get GPS? Because that's a hell of a lot of gold plastic there.
He wore the afro before and after it was cool
holy crap. how much did these guys cost you? Where did you get them?
8:16 now that was quick.😏

the final combination looks like magnugiga
CROTCHMASTER!
lol i love the end xD
does the combine weapon 13:44 appear in the series or is just toy exclusive if so what is the weapon called
It appears in the series
So much gold
This probably had gold plastic syndrome though I'd be surprised if this figure in balts collection is still together
is this made of that brittle god plastic
HA
loved the very end
Anybody remember the made to order all gold chrome MP Great Goldran from like 10 years ago?
It's not mp but it's just an entirely gold chromed goldran
You're right that it's the original mold but was released under the Takara Brave MP line, no?
It wasn't released as part of the takara brave mastepriece line form what it seems
Really? I thought it was due to the time frame. My mistake
You see that two holes on Kaiser's back? Above those orange buttons? That's where those fins you put on Goldran's head belong. They should not be on Goldran's head except when three of the robots combine
He cannot take them off its pretty hard for him
you mistransformed Leokaisers chest.
I would get this but I would prioritize Gaogaigar then this.
A lion, bird and dragon
what about the silver dudes?!!
He reviewed them later
Jetfire48 And this comment was like 2014
I think calling this a cluster is a bit unfair, outside of the shoes which look pretty good upfront and the lion bow you end up with something that doesnt look nearly as bad as some of sentai's most recent combinations.
you forgot to mention he gets clown shoes!
the audio on iphone is really bad...
cool
Gaorn is still the best lion in brave series imo =]
Kinda
One of the red missels is slightly larger than a human so if this was real it could be the size of a skyscraper
I forgot that the tail with a weapon
wow, thats awesome XD
Dude, your turn table is going to die on you someday.
que es balmatrix
Now i get why he turned sora's head around before he plugged it into his crotch!
Leon kaiser means lion king so its lion the robot and king the lion
no, kaiser means emperor.
I really hate lazy slipper syndrome in combing toys
why would it be sky sora kage sora kage means sky shadow that'd be sky sky shadow that's just redundant
robot mode head=super Saiyan 3
I count 29 guns. ( i counted every place a bullet could go)
do japanese toy like this one suffer from "gold plastic syndrome" degradation?
kstanni87 Nu!
Ouch
(hears the swearing that was cut out) do you kiss your wife with that mouth
Its a fuckin grifin
Kinda cool but gold really
Planes from the brave series>transformers planes
I Love Jumbo Sabre =P
Brave doesn't have as many transformers that turn into planes then there is in the takara brave series
all transformers are cool as much as plan robots that dont transformer
Sky SoraKage = Sky SkyShadow
*facepalm* lol
หัวแราะทำ...
Poor turntable.
Poor Spada's eye.

Brickish look at armada and think about what you said

Garo wibes
u should really read the instructions once before u do all these transformation review lol
Do more of this kind of toy plz and where can I find it
