Great reaction. Sundowning, which is the name of the album, is a term used to describe behavioral changes that can occur in people with dementia in the late afternoon or early evening. This includes confusion, forgetfulness, agitation etc. In the song "The Night Does Not Belong To God," I believe that Vessel uses this symptom as an analogy to him remembering his trauma during the day, but he forgets at night, and so he longs for the night to come down like Heaven. Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
There will be lots of tears. Especially when you get to Euclid. I don't play favourites with Sleep Token, but some of my most played tracks are The Love You Want, The Way That You Were, Euclid, Descending, When The Bough Breaks, Take Me Back To Eden, and Take Aim. Everything about them is captivating. I'm so excited to see where this journey will take you.
Subscribed! It is so lovely to see you reacting the way we all did when we first heard these songs. Welcome to the Worship. This is more than music. Worship!🖤
You can’t go down the complete sleep token rabbit hole without starting out with the two EP’s called One and Two. You gotta listen of those first then go to Sundowning.
So glad your going through the albums, you should do ep 1,2 also, your definitely going to cry on this journey. The thing with sleep token is every song hits you with a different feeling and vibe and every song feels like something you can relate to if that makes sense like each songs interpretation is your own I feel anyways awesome reaction..Worship 🙏🫶
Indeed this journey is heartbreaking but so passionate and it will give you a new take on a lot of stuff, at least it did for me and i swear that band is my favourite now period. That spiritual experience that it brings is otherwordly and once you get trough their trilogy and tie the knot with euclid ( gosh i cried bad on this one ) you will understand why we say worship 🙌 xD So i wish you a great journey and looking forward to your future sleep token reaction! ( Btw i did saw a video not so long ago that is called "Sleep Token - Trilogy of trauma" and not only it brings lore and perspective but it is a great hommage to sleep token too! Yes it broke me even harder 😂 )
I’ve subscribed to so many creators for their sleep token journeys. Looking forward to seeing you go down yours. It’s hard to pick a favorite song, high water is the one that comes to mind first.
I have been a ST fan for a long time. I will not spoil the albums for you BUT, pay attention to some of the subtle notes and call backs to previouse songs as you go. This bands music is more than a good structure of notes and vocals. it's a story. Vessel has experienced something terrible, and he is pouring his soul into everything.
So the song seems to be saying "It's heaven to forget about all your troubles"..... as for the song title, well is it trying to say that God invented dementia? So the title is like saying God is to blame or something? the night doesn't believe to God
you clearly miss the meaning of the song....this one is talking about shrek 1. In that movie Fiona changes when sun goes...cause By night one way, by day another...you welcome. Edit: don't forget to worship.

“I feel like I’m going to cry so much on this journey”. Yes, you will.
These guys are masters of immersing you into each song so quickly, then taking you on a musical and lyrical journey. So damn good.
Remember this song when you get to the last song on the last album called "Euclid". Incredible stuff.
The greatest band I’ve ever heard I’ve never connected or felt music more than when i listen to them they are more than just music !! ❤️❤️

So glad you’re taking the journey! Every song is perfection!
Best band ever. The 3 albums you're about to listen to I've listened to each song at least 1000 times. All of them are amazing, like every single song
She’s gotta listen to the first 2 EPs also! They are just as important!

Should have started with the EP's. That's where the story begins.
that's all prequel; the albums are the Sleep trilogy
