I'm actually fully convinced by these constant small liberties with time, glisses, subito dynamics, accents consisting of speed rather than pressure, and almost flat whispers, the last of which also has an excellent effect in your Mozart, but I don't think I've heard anything like this. Is this what we think period Schumann sounded like now?
