Cut referring to the earlier editing of film they physically cut scenes off the reel of film and spliced other scenes together. *Directors cut in games is suggesting the publisher removed content the developer originally had planned.

Death Stranding didn't really have any real competition for it in 2019 so it was an easy win, and Last of Us 2 is just the most acclaimed video game of all time in general, people's issues with it have more to do with them than any kind of professional assessment for the product itself.

IMO Primal is one of the best Far Cry games, up there with 2, 3 and Blood Dragon. They really should do one where you can tame and ride Dinosaurs. Also as Tsushima did Japan before Assassin’s Creed, a Shinobi Far Cry could be fun.

Nintendo use DX and that works. They could use a + (so Ghost of Tsushima + Iki island) or they could even name it after something in game like when Nier had the Yorha edition. You could even call it something new like Horizon had "The Frozen Wilds"

The problem with the Tsushima Director’s Cut is that they are locking Japanese lip sync (original game should have this), native 4K (should be a dynamic free improvement) and Dual Sense features behind a $10 upgrade. This PS4 to PS5 upgrade also requires the $20 DLC, you can’t upgrade for only $10.
PS5 already does 4k dynamic 60 fps free of charge on the original game. $10 is for the controller sertings and 3D audio. It should be free in my opinion. Sony being Sony as usual. Hoping MS shake things up and give Sony a lesson. Just like AMD did with Intel on the cpu market

The problem with the Tsushima Director’s Cut is that they are locking Japanese lip sync (original game should have this), native 4K (should be a dynamic free improvement) and Dual Sense features behind a $10 upgrade. This PS4 to PS5 upgrade also requires the $20 DLC, you can’t upgrade for only $10.
PS5 already does 4k dynamic 60 fps free of charge on the original game. $10 is for the controller sertings and 3D audio. It should be free in my opinion. Sony being Sony as usual. Hoping MS shake things up and give Sony a lesson. Just like AMD did with Intel on the cpu market
