As per Vastu, the best place for the Pooja room is the North-East corner or Brahmasthana of the house. We kept it in the northeast corner of this house. Also, the diety is on the east wall so that we face the rising Sun while paying obeisance to the deity. Pyramid roof is the best choice but we don't have that luxury. These are some of the best recommendations as per Vastu.
