You truly are one of my very favorite channels. I never miss an episode. I wish I had half of your personality on my channel!!!!!! Personally don’t love the first kitchen. It’s so big but I don’t love the layout. House hunting can be so hard. We ended up building just bc of how hard finding what I loved was- I do sometimes wish I’d been on RUclips before I picked my kitchen.
A couple things I love about Kim: 1. She always has to voice over her sponsorship portion bc she says the wrong percentage off or the wrong code. I ❤ you. 2. She falls in love with a house that obviously belonged to a drug lord in the 80's bc of a stained glass flamingo window and the endless potential it has. Again, I ❤ you. There are so many more reasons you make my day, Kim! Thank you!
Bahaha sometimes it’s not my fault!! They switch my code uo without telling me- this time it was my fault. I was editing like... 25 what!! 25 percent. 💀

Loved the different house 🏠 tours, I'm sure you will find your new 🏡 you will feel like " I'm Home!" when you walk in the door 🚪! And that was a great pantry clean out ! Also it was so much fun watching you work out and fold clothes! 😊👍💕💕💕
I LOVED both homes, especially the bathroom with the flamingo. Not used to seeing a pool without a gate around it to prevent child drownings (I'm from Australia 🇦🇺) I want to move to Florida 😁
You could keep those cabinets and have them refaced and they would be up to date. Easy fix! Flooring and wiring. Make sure the outside is perfect! Termites, leaks and cracks anywhere. And check that roof! Spend the $ to get an inspection that you hire. Not the realtor or property owner. I've been watching Holmes on Holmes and he has changed how I look at houses. And you are not alone with your pantry! Tomorrow I will tackle mine since you successfully cleaned yours. Thanks for the encouragement!
Hello there... just wanted you to know you are loved from the Bronx NY. Finding ur videos helped me thru this pandemic. I can relate to you in being a wife & mom. My kids are grown & still live home so watching you has inspired me in organizing mire around the house & ur meal preps are so much fun. Im enjoying even the things u suggest like the dough whisk & things to buy... thank you for letting me have fun watching ur videos & cooking together.
We’ve been looking for a house for six months! (In Iowa) We’ve had showings scheduled the same day the house was listed get cancelled because it gets sold within hours! The market is crazy!!! Crossing my fingers for both of us!
I'm so excited for you. We are currently getting ready to move to Tennessee from Florida in August. Renting for a year then we will be looking for our forever home. We are so excited.. Can't wait to tour houses and check out the new state.. Hope you have a great day Kim. 🥰💖
I developed an allergy to pineapple at 20 while trying to induce labor, my face and throat swelled up I had to go to the hospital it was so embarrassing!! I had been eating pineapples forever but since I always have a reaction if I accidentally have something that has pineapple but its always pretty mild compared to that time but I avoid as much as possible.

The doors that go into the wall are called pocket doors. We have a 1967 tri level and have one in our master bath. We had an intercom when we moved in 20 years ago and we tore it out and dry walled over the holes.

I love the 2nd house but also renovations take foooorrrreeeevvvveeer. Loving the pools and waterfront properties in FL, definitely need to move there. So tired of the CO snow. More House Hunter videos please!!!
When I move I'm going to make sure to taste the water as part of my thing; they changed piping here and it made a difference, even though I use a Brita. Love the video!!!
I definitely liked the first house you showed better, although that intercom system WAS really cool! Also watching you clean that rug was so satisfying
If you need a peanut butter substitute we use sunbutter (sunflower). My husband says he likes it better than peanut butter. My mom has a severe nut allergy and I seem to be mildly effected bY them so we try not to keep any in the house but our child loves peanut butter, she hasn't noticed the difference between sunbutter and peanut butter yet.
I'm so glad we bought our house when we did (march last year) because from what I'm seeing and hearing things are crazy in the market right now (inventory low and tons of buyers, price of lumber skyrocketing)! We have 6 kids and no way I'd want to deal with remodeling or fighting tooth and nail for something you may not have chosen if the market wasn't like it is now. I hope you guys find something that fits you perfectly soon (I remember we just 'knew' when we saw our house)! I know the feeling of out growing your space and the longing desire to be able to be more comfortable and spread out some. FX for y'all!
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for showing us the house hunting. I liked the first house better. The second one was roomy but too many upgrades needed. Great job on the pantry. Take care of you and yours.
I have a 1983 house that I'm actively changing things on 😂 nothing makes sense 😂 I grew up in a 1940's 800 square foot, 2 bedroom cottage style house with 5 other people. My dad gutted and remodeled it immediately in 1981 and it was never noticeably just an "old house". He refused to decorate/style it like any era 😂
I didn’t like baths until I discovered the mega moisturizing power of bath bombs. No more dry, itchy winter skin. The 80s vibe of the second house gave me childhood nostalgia. Does your current house not have a pool? Swimming is such great exercise and keeps you cool the rest of the day.
JMO both need some updates but I like the 2nd house but, is this your dream home🤷♀️ Can’t wait to see the big announcement once you find it! You are Fire Kim! Love, love you and your family! You motivate this stranger and Thank you for being you...real, honest, smart and well, your personality is like sunshine! TFS! 👍💕🙏😁💐
I always love the moments in my small bathroom. Like when your husband sits on the toilet lid and loosens the entire seat and then you get to sit on it for an unexpected ride and slide right into the dagger edge bathroom counter top. It’s always a nice time.
Thank you for another great video!!! I am Sydney obsessed!!! I've been following her posted workout every day since May, she is so amazing and I love that you do her workouts too!!
DON'T SETTLE. When we decided to purchase a bigger home we both had one thing we wouldn't "settle" about. Mine was the kitchen. His was garage/shed/storage. We found our forever home. The only thing it didn't have and I settled with..... The kitchen. 6 years later, I still regret this kitchen. I love my home. It's perfect for us. Except the kitchen. Now we're saving to remodel it. But will that ever really happen?? Probably not. Thank you for sharing your house hunting with us!
I say build a home! When the market is high (now) you get more bang for you buck with new construction. We bought a new home with our first home because the prices were the same as an existing home prices. We bought a existing home in 2012 because at the time the market was low and new construction was expensive. I live in Florida too, east coast.
So that’s a tricky situation too! We have been looking for land to build for about a year now and it is extremely expensive where we are sometimes the land is more than a house! It’s crazy. And on top of that especially now the cost of lumber is going through the roof so building costs are probably going to up with that as well! 💀💀💀💀
We close on a house this week and we had the issues with them selling immediately. We had to put an above asking price offer in to get a house and it was only listed for 5 hours. Insane times!!!
Thank YOU for the motivation! Hey, I was doing 10min sit down work outs and after one month, my legs, belly and arms were so getting in tone!! I need to cardio for sure! Starts tomorrow!
When you take us on the new house tours and we see the kitchen - I look to see if it is good for filming your cooking videos. Where will the camera go? Where is the work space suitable for cooking and filming? These two houses not so good for that. I love seeing the house tours and I hope you find “the one” soon!! Love your videos! I would love to have half your energy.
You’re 100% correct! A shirt workout is better than none! I got out for a brisk walk Saturday and Sunday then did a 20 minute Pilates workout last night
Beautiful thing about buying an old house is you can make it what you want! You could for sure paint the cabinets until you're ready to put new in and paint over the wallpaper and trim.
The 1st house you looked at and showed us, I REALLY thought you would get. It was super beautiful! Now the kitchen in the 1st house was BEAUTIFUL!!! But the layout for both were kind of funky.
Loved both homes but I too thought there was a lot of gutting & redoing. But you my friend sure make me happy! You give me a giggle like no one else! Good luck my friend!
Pantry cleanout🙌🏽..Love how u bring us along with house hunting😊💛hope ur lil one is ok, my daughter is deathly allergic to tomatoes, she even smell or be in same room😣 ur down to earth and haven't changed thru the years🤗
It looked like the first house had a pass through window from the kitchen area to the patio/pool. That would be a nice feature. Great job on your pantry re-do.
Yes i think that hookup was for a second fridge or freezer....i think that was like a "stock room" where you can keep most of your back stock of food, then transfer what you need into the kitchen 😊
Laundry is on a schedule around here. Wednesday is towels/bedding, Thursday is my clothes, Friday is our 3 yr olds stuff & Saturday/Sunday whichever day my husband has off he gets to do his own laundry 👌🏼😅
We buy a huge bag of dried black beans, cook 'em up in the instant pot, and freeze in 2 cup portions for meal prep. Super cheap, super easy, you can season the way you want, and no preservatives! Just in case you're looking for useful things to do with your instant pot besides boiled eggs.
Fun bath tips: I used window cling-ons on the shower walls - power rangers on top, baby ones on bottom. Also, my daughter was young, so I put styrofoam letters that stick to tile, big fish-shaped sponges, & found that Ty Beanie Babies (I was 1 of them lol) dried out well, are easy to wash bc they're full of little plastic balls, & they're made well! I didn't buy squuirt/squeaky toys, or any that might mildew, & nothing too big for a med basket, tucked away, so big brother didn't have to see lil girl toys:)
LOVED the first house! Ridiculously large lol...mostly loved the kitchen! Second seemed like a large remodel...I agree though that having the wood trim painted would really help. Love your longer videos!! ☺️👍
The second house you looked at reminds me of what my house looked like before we started renovating. Gotta love those 90’s cabinets. Also thank you for the inspiration to clean out my pantry. Will probably do that this coming weekend. I steam cleaned my carpets this last weekend. Reminds me every time that I need to do it more often. Thank you for your content. I watch it like a TV show. :)
I gave up on decanting things like boxed pancake mix, sugar, and flour... I don't have endless space and the glass jars take up more space than boxes. Plus they're so heavy.
Perfect timing to watch this video! I’ve been doing light cleaning now that I’m feeling better from surgery. My hubby and I thought that the home we purchased 5 years ago would be our retirement home. NOT! We live in Queen Creek, Arizona and our 2 sons live in Scottsdale, AZ. They’ve been begging us to move closer to them because they feel an hour and a half distance is too far! LOL Soooooo... guess what we’re doing? House hunting! Our next home WILL be our retirement home! 😂😂😂 I hope you find your new home soon! Sending you a big hug! 💕💕💕
DON’t settle! Be patient, sometimes the perfect house is not ready for you yet, wait it out, prices are going to go down anyway, so high right now. Patience is such a virtue, but also very hard. Your house is looking awesome, I had 2 weeks to get things market ready, when we spontaneously decided to sell because prices were up. Great job at starting early. Love your videos, I have some things to send you, need to stop procrastinating, and get them ready to go! Have a great day!
So I saw the new video was posted and that it was 48 mins (YAY!!) so I decided to re organize the pantry as I watched.....well that's great and all except you started organizing your pantry when I was well into mine and I couldn't find my fast forward button! You finished way before me lol. Sigh.....wish I had a fast forward button lol...especially when its bathroom cleaning day
I am severely allergic to cashews and my doctor suggests me always to carry cetrizine (antihistamine) and a ventolin inhaler to keep me breathing while my epipen works. I luckily have only had 2 anaphylaxilic shocks but thankfully me and my parents were really careful with allergens in food. 💕
@@thewadsquad We are in the same boat - hubs is confident the market will improve come spring/summer, and I so hope it turns out. Underwhelmed is exactly how I feel, and I'm so ready to find the house! Fingers crossed for all of us! Also, our 8 year old daughter is allergic to peanuts, so I can definitely relate - poor kiddos. 5 year old son is allergy free (for now, I guess!).
@@notavailable5911 That would be ideal, for sure. We are keeping an open mind about it, but land is expensive around here right now, so we're hoping a house we love will come on the market in the spring. I'm inpatient, but willing to wait as well. Also something, the new construction neighborhoods seem to all place the homes thisclose to one another, and have itty bitty yard space. I just can't. Need that breathing space. :)
Mehhhh on remodeling. I'm currently remodeling (just the bathroom) and it's been 5 weeks and we still aren't done. If you have lots of patience and a never ending positive attitude (and extra money for the hidden problems you find) then go for it lol.
The 1st house was nicer than the 90s house that kitchen was beautiful
I thought so, too. I’d rather expand and add a bedroom for what it would cost to update everything and a brand new kitchen in the second house. But it’s hard to second guess when we haven’t seen the actual houses. It’s hard to judge room sizes (although that dining room in the first house was massive - the size of that table with plenty of room to spare!) and it’s impossible to feel the vibe of the houses. And everyone has a different vision of how they want their home to be and every family uses space differently.

Why you build houses with lumber in america in stet of bricks like we do in the netherlands, just wondering
@@thewadsquad Right I see, well here in the east coast Florida it’s actually just as cheap to buy a new build than an existing home right now.
@@veronicasimons3857 well because it’s cheaper. In Florida we build concrete block house though because it’s safer for hurricanes.
Your dancing was everything I needed today! 👌🏻💃🏻 😂 xx
Kim, you are hysterical and have great energy! Hope you find the right house for your family!!;
We close on a house this week and we had the issues with them selling immediately. We had to put an above asking price offer in to get a house and it was only listed for 5 hours. Insane times!!!
So crazy!!! The second one was pending 3 days after it was out on the market I’m really interested to now what it sold for!!
Love the green cardigan on you - so glad you kept it during your last closet declutter!
Thank YOU for the motivation! Hey, I was doing 10min sit down work outs and after one month, my legs, belly and arms were so getting in tone!! I need to cardio for sure! Starts tomorrow!
You will know “this is the house” when you see it there will be no doubt! You will just feel it!!! Good luck!!!🍀
Haha same! I love her current kitchen cause it has good natural lighting. The other houses looked so dark!
Just got off a really long shift as a nurse in the world we live in now. Glad to see this as a notification. Love watching your videos! ❤️
I'm so thankful for what you do!
More Slim Kim, best birthday gift ever!! Good luck with the house hunt!
WHAT!! Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a great one!
Happy Birthday!
In the second house, it’s so vintage, it’s cool. Paint it funky colors and embrace it!!!
I love funkieness!
You are a bundle of joy 😅😅💞may god bless you and your family
Love, love, love thrive market! They make it so easy to shop for healthy snacks. Good luck on the house hunting.😊
Loved the 2nd house!!! So much potential! Not digging the drop downs though. You'd definitely need to add and take down a bunch of walls!
Don’t ever stop making your Julia Child’s impression! I love it!
Kim move to Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton you could find everything you need here. Just 45 minutes south of Tampa.
😊👍🏼🌴
Love your dancing 💃 while you ❤ cook and clean around the house 🏠 😊👍💕💕💕
I love when you post videos!! They always bring a little happy to my day! 💞
You r my new favorite You Tuber! I'm a mom of 3 boys and 1 girl. You are so relatable. U keep it real and you always make me laugh 😂
We're house hunting too and I'm just so tired of it. There's nothing good on the market in my area! Do you guys get burned out when house hunting?
I’m underwhelmed by the options - I’m hoping come summertime we will have more options! ♥️
@@notavailable5911 Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your suggestion! Take care and stay safe
Absolutely LOVE YOUR CHANNEL, also LOVE when you say “it’s a No for me dog”! 😩🤣😊
Mehhhh on remodeling. I'm currently remodeling (just the bathroom) and it's been 5 weeks and we still aren't done. If you have lots of patience and a never ending positive attitude (and extra money for the hidden problems you find) then go for it lol.
Lawd! You crack me up!! Always make my morning....always.
