It has taken me until I listened to your podcast to begin to imagine that God loves me. For years every dream I've ever had has been smashed. Still not totally convinced but open. So tired of people telling me how God loves me when I see no evidence of it. All I want is a decent life. This has become my church service.

No but Jesus sacrificing his Blood on the cross gave us forgiveness for all of our sins so therefore we repent and then we have no sin because Jesus died for our sins so therefore we sin no more🙏🙏🙏

My sentiments too. Please keep this balanced. We know you all are smart, so Jase, don’t make this into a contest to prove you know more than someone else. That’s how it comes across to me. Is this pride? And even if that isn’t your intent, don’t cut off your Father speaking just to make your “points”. That is disrespectful. I appreciate this podcast that I watch on Blaze, but it causes an unpleasant confusion and stress for me when this happens. Please respect your fellow podcast members and guests. When they are speaking, look at them, not away from them and make eye contact and don’t cut them off or be so anxious to jump in. Allow some space in the conversation so that the others can speak. All of you have your own nuggets and testimonies to share. It isn’t the Jase show. Passion for the Word and wanting to share this with others is why you do what you do. I appreciate how Zach and Alan keep things on track for the actual scriptures/books being studied. Phil is an amazing individual and God has used him time and time again to bring the simple truth of the Gospel into each episode. We appreciate all of the men and what each has to share.

I’ll never forget what my chorus/Bible teacher at Greater Atlanta Christian School said to us one day after many students frequently used the phrase “living in sin.” He said he’s looked from cover to cover and cannot find this phrase anywhere in the Bible.

More thoughts cause by study together and I watch another CBN pod cast on Pride & Humility so I posted a thought I have had for awhile now. Pride is a creature not accepting the Creator's Power and Authority but as I like to say, "Standing on the wrong side of the Judgement Bench!"! Also, In reference to the Prophets statement, God said "Am I not the Potter?".

Zach’s sneaking Calvinistic theology into the episodes. 😅 It’s important to understand that this theology doesn’t believe in free will, everything is determined by God - even evil. They also believe that God predestines people to Hell before they’re born, for no other reason than He didn’t love them and He gets glory from it.
The namesake of this theology, John Calvin, even said in his institutes that God doesn’t merely “permit evil” but is the author of evil. Calvin then said that how this doesn’t implicate God, or make God responsible for sin and evil, he didn’t know, but was a “mystery”. Calvinism makes God a moral monster and us the puppets.
I’m not against Zach, I think Zach is great. But too many times Calvinism gets snuck into teachings and people have no idea what it is and are unaware.

I Have a Question I read In the Bible where it says Matthew 24;35 Heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall Never pass away but of that day and hour knoweth no man no not the angels of heaven but my Father only but as the days of Noe were so shall also the coming of the son man be. so what i do not Understand is if Heaven is Gonna pass away Just Like Earth is then those of us who are in Heaven with God Forever then where do we Go after Heaven Passes away ? i am Very Confused about this ? any help i can get would Be Great Thank you God Bless You.
I have found no where that grace says we must maintain perfection it says strive for perfection or maturity. A mature person doesn't try to sin wilful sin but we are all going to do accidental sin from time to time grace doesn't require that I hold out till the end.

If there is no free will, then that means God is the author of all sin and evil and since he brought about sin (not human will) he redeemed something that He only brought about.
That’s not the God of the Bible, that’s a theistic determinism unheard of for the first 400 years of church history, until it was introduced by Augustine in the 4/5th century, who was a Manichaean gnostic (steeped in predeterminism) before coming to faith. Then later revived in the 1500’s by Calvin who references Augustine over and over throughout his writings (Institutes)
The God of the Bible, out of His love and mercy towards humans whom He created and who sinned against Him, sacrificed Himself to save them. That’s true love and true redemption.

Calvinists like John Piper will say that ab*se of a child is brought about, or theistically determined, by God “for his glory”.
People really don’t understand this theology or its implications at all. If you are a consistent Calvinist it leads to making God a moral monster.
@@lindsaysimplified Absolutely, amen sister. I've heard Piper say this and I can't believe how many people don't test what they hear and pay attention to this....and think it through. Sproul has said the same thing as well, so has James White, etc.
Calvinists, to their credit, have done a great job utilizing the internet, but sadly this has led to many Christians being indoctrinated.
Calvinists will use a bunch of false dichotomies like: either salvation is 100% all God or it isn't, you're either a Roman Catholic or Reformed, either God saved you or you saved yourself, etc. etc.
The condition of mankind is like people drowning in the middle of the sea with all kinds of pleasures around them to satisfy them and keep them there and in that condition, yet God has thrown them a life preserver. There is no boasting in grabbing onto and holding onto a life preserver, that's ridiculous. It's not a work, it's simply an act of faith, that everyone that hears the gospel can choose to accept or reject.
We have the right to choose between God and demons. Keep praying to keep the demons away. Keep praying.

@@WeekendWarrioroutdoors16 Calvinists believe in "unconditional election". ie. predestination. GOD selected a limited number of souls to grant salvation at the beginning of time. Nothing a person does in their mortal life can change their eternal fate!
