  • At Shakti Chiro we offer gentle chiropractic care for the entire family including children, babies, pregnant women, and the elderly. Dr. Rogini Thirukkumaran uses a chiropractic adjusting technique called Koren Specific Technique, or KST. With this technique there are no manual adjustments such as twisting. Most chiropractic adjustments will be done with the patient standing up which is extremely helpful for patients with severe pain. With KST she will address any emotional, physical and chemical imbalances that are contributing to the present complaint. Dr. Rogini uses an instrument called the Arthrostim to correct and remove nerve pressure. This instrument introduces a specific adjustment to the body which is very gentle and non-invasive. KST is very gentle, but very powerful.
    Here are some of most common reasons why patients visit Dr. Rogini: Headaches, TMJ dysfunction, head, neck pain, shoulder, arm pain, numbness & tingling, sinus trouble, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, asthma, indigestion, ADHD, autism, colic, menstrual difficulties, pregnancy-related pain, whiplash, muscle pain, back pain, sciatic pain, hip pain, knee pain, ankle pain, foot pain, ear infections, growing pains, stress, anxiety, infertility and so much more.

    what are you doing with your hands when you go up and down on the back of their heads? do you use more aggressive methods or only use the tools?

    • @DrRogini
      @DrRogini  7 лет назад +5

      Great question! I am looking for changes of the occipital bone (use as a base line).. different practitioners use different baselines, some use leg checks or muscle testing....keep in mind chiropractic adjustment is not about being aggressive even the traditional one is gentle too. The main purpose is to tune up the spine or removing interference so the body can heal. Mainly I use the tool and sometimes drop table or trigger point release. It all depends what the health issue is. Hope this helps :)

      It's supposed to be "reading" the body. It's total bollocks. Like she knows where to "adjust" just by simply petting the patient. "The body is telling me...jack shit"

    "Do you have a scar tissue here?"
    - Yes.
    "So what the 'body' is telling me right now, there is a scar tissue that needs to be tapped..."

    Why does everyone get so butt hurt about whether this method is scientifically effective. If the patients say it helps then so be it. That's the end goal.

    ASMR chiropractors use this type of instrument for nerve stimulation after treatment... But to claim that what she is doing helps people makes the profession look bad... She should be ashamed of scamming people.... Also I await for this comment to be deleted once she sees it ha

      thank you for your comment...the chiropractic adjustments to you on the video might look off. these videos are mainly made to show the public that they are gentle. what matters how patients improve in their overall health. the video does not include all the scenes from orthopedic testing to re-assessment and much more.
