0:00 "Storm's coming"
a guy who takes out the trash is a family guy~
Taking down Falcone is one stormy first step (punny too, as for the weather). It's an "dramatic example" to shake people out off apathy.
Batman is right when he assumes Flass will talk to him...
1:05 "I have kids to feed"
1:24 The interrogation
When dealing with someone who is surely guilty, cutting out the due process and red tape is way more effective! Кино
A lot of people say the voice is dumb and it isn't scary or intimidating, but let's be real here, if a crazy man in a bat suit was screaming in my face threatening to beat the shit out of me, I'd be pretty scared
Yeah, especially if you're 10 stories high hanging upside down also.
I think the voice is mostly criticized in the second and third film, since it really messed with Bale's throat when he did it for real, so they digitally altered his voice so Batman could be growly without messing with his throat. It sounds much better when he does it for real in this movie.
Well I would say the first movie nailed the voice perfectly throughout. The second and third I thought it just got more caricaturish, he didn’t have to try so hard.
In this movie his voice is good, but in TDK and TDKR...
Would shit my pants 10/10
"DO I LOOK LIKE A COP!?"
Xecnalxes No,but look like bat.
Yes
And nice talking to you letter
''no-AAAAAAHHHHH!''
The good cop, BAT cop routine?
'Swear to that Falafel Vendor you just ripped off and GIVE HIM HIS MONEY BACK!'
😂😂😂😂
Batman Begins - Where were the other drugs going!?
The Dark Knight - Where are they!?
The Dark Knight Rises -Where's the Trigger!?
World's Greatest Detective lol
SWEAR TO ME!
Dark knight rises - Where’s the trigger!
First drugs, then a kidnapping and finally a bomb trigger. Like how serious each one gets as the films progress.
These are interrogations, remember in Arkham knight batman man interrogated a guy by putting his Batmobile tires in the guys face.. and take a look at this one ruclips.net/video/M-9sbnWmD2Y/видео.html I am not defending the trilogy to be an accurate representation of batman, but what u pointed was no right..
Bales Batman voice in this was PHENOMENAL. Not that it was bad in the other two, but he made it way more growly than it needed to be in DK and DKR.
+Mitch Farkas Idk i'd say it was pretty bad in DK and DKR. some parts you couldnt even take him seriously.
+Mitch Farkas Kevin Conroy and Will Friedle had the best Batman voices, intimidating without sounding like they needed a cough drop.
+squallofthedai Kevin Conroy will always be my favorite Batman, I want to say that right off the bat. (Pun intended).
In the cartoons you can get away with Batman sounding exactly like Bruce Wayne. The filmmakers wanted to disguise his voice, so there's either electronics, or a growl. They went with the growl. In Batman Begins, it was fucking great and intimidating. In DK and KDR it was a little over done, but you have to imagine it was because Bale's vocal chords were taking a beating.
it's cus he starts to lose his voice from doing the batman voice in the next two movies so they had a computer to change it so it put less strain on his vocal cords
he interrogates a lot in the dark Knight. rises. he was only in the batsuit for like half an hour total
This is a pure batman movie. The dark knight is great, but doesn't focus as much on the comic book origins I feel, it told its own story.
Yes, I had the same feeling too. This Batman is vicious and hard
Mario Lancellotti Not to mention the focus on his detective skills.
Spongebob Squarepants so true
This is the best Batman film to me cuz it focused mostly on Batman. The other two focused more on the villains and though they were cool. They overshadowed the main character.
@@onethousandlostsouls Nah
For those curious, the reason Batman's voice was different in DK and DKR compared to the first movie is because Bale kept losing his voice every time he did the batman voice, so they had to always edit it since he would always lose it with all the interrogation scenes he had to do and just talking in that voice general.
+Al Speid It sounds better in begins
Do I look like a cop
Go back to the Batman Begins screen test footage. His voice is even better there
They should've tried to do a voice modulator like what they did with Affleck but I think that the technology wasn't really around in 2005
@@bballskiller mad respect to Bale for trying his best to maintain that voice. I understand how stressful that could be on the vocal chords
"SWEAR TO ME" is the best Batman line
"DO I LOOK LIKE A COP!"
lol the best
Christian bale played that part gooooooood
Too bad the script writers are IDIOTS ignoring laws of physics and engineering. Batman is tech-based hero, but it would require MAGIC ... or equipment that doesnt fit on a belt ... to do things like this with a wire.
Michael Heaps his voice kinda scared me it did
As Bale once said, “You couldn’t pull it off unless you became a beast in that suit.”
Average
Muck006 Most of his gadgets are stare of the art, they are practically really advanced, just extremely expensive to put in production
That delicious falafel. Wasted
Saint Link Ikr?
What's a falafel
@@danielarroyo3287

Falafel is looks like meatballs
It was wasted the moment that asspile bit into it.
i remember watching this in the theaters and being legit intimidated my batman, he was most aggressive in begins that the other two, imo
+Isai Orozco yeah.
"SWEAR TO MEEEH" was quite intimidating and awesome.
"UM NAWT WEERING HOCKEY PAHDS" and "WHERE ARE THEY" were stiff, but still effective.
"WHERE'S THE TRIGGER" is just unintentionally hilarious. Shit, TKDR was so full of ridiculous voices that you could make fine comedy with Bale and Hardy as the only casts.
Well as time goes on, criminals become less and less afraid of him. The same theme went on in Arkham Knight, most of the criminals dialogue hinted that because they knew Batman wouldn't kill them, they had nothing to fear about going to Arkham or Blackgate and escaping again.
Begins has some horror movie-style tropes like jump-scares and hallucinations. Really damn cool and appropriate for a Batman movie. The other two movies played it too realistic
+Archer 250 For you
I like how he talks petty normal to Gordon, then the evil "SWEAR TO ME!" line fits so well later. Too bad in the sequels he decided to do that talk all the time as batman.
exactly
Lol picture being in one of those apartments, then seeing a flailing grown man zip up and down a wire, with a dude dressed like a bat yelling SWEAR TO ME
SWEAR TO MEEEE!!!!!
fucking vicious!!!!!! i LOVE it!
agree~ it's like Batman wants Flass to think Batman is much intimidating than anything else and* (I meant to say "or" back then) even God can't save Flass from him!!
Bruce Huang well, that or Batman knows how heaven works (meaning, in short, that if God was on anyone's side in that scenario, he'd be rooting for Bruce Wayne's alter-ego)
Christopher Mannchen I'm kind of amazed how the filmmakers here evaded revealing whether Bruce is spiritual, yet they managed to produce a movie with such depth. Religious orientation is surly one of the major indices to understand a character. It's obvious that Bruce's been struggling to cope with the death of his loved ones since childhood... I wonder what his view is on afterlife. However, it's totally sound to dwell on the past and memorize the departed without believe in afterlife: for instance, non-believers can still go to a memorial to pay the respect.
I am with you~ Personally, I, too, tend to believe if God exists, He will take side and root for the good as well ("Blessed are the meek"~). But since God is likely to be all-loving, He is more forgiving; since God is likely to be all-knowing, He will be a better judge to tell the truth; and since God is likely to be all-powerful, He will render His divine intervention when He sees fit...
Bruce Huang Bruce Wayne does not believe in God, it's mentioned many times in the comics. He refers to religious people as cowards.
Dan Kanharn you know, he COULD be referring to SPECIFIC religious people and not religious people as a whole (just saying)
One of the best Batman scenes in the whole movie
Everything Batman says is so intimidating! He is literally one of the best versions of the character ever. The reason Batman Begins is my favorite live action Batman movie.
God I love this scene he looks so monstrous that's the way I love batman
1:35 EPIC ... BEST BATMAN EVER.
I like the second meeting between Batman and Gordon. There is still a physical distance between them; a visual representation of how full trust has not been established yet. You can tell that Gordon is still somewhat weary and skeptical.
And Gary Oldman plays Gordon's uncertainty perfectly.
“I have kids to feed.”
“What, they don’t like falafel?”
That’s one of the best and few JOKES in a Nolan movie. 😄
Begins actually has quite a lot of good jokes. But not so many that they defuse the drama in scenes.
@@WhiteFangofWar I love that bit where Bats goes through an Arkham cell and the 2 inmates are like "Wtf?"
@@cotomaas 'Excuse me'
"Nice coat"
"All those push ups and you can't even lift a bloody log"
"Seems like you took my advice about theatricality quite... literally"
The humour in this film is way underrated.
"SWEAR TO ME" 1:42
1:41
Badass!
"Do I look like a cop!?" I fuckin loved this movie bruh we need more shit like this in cinema... 😂
He moonlights as a low level enforcer= Batman Begins
He moonlights for The Penguin= The Batman
1:29 - 2:21
What Batman does to corrupt cops.
No better lesson could be learned by such a dirty cop~
More corruption of Flass (clip 5):
ruclips.net/video/O4kyw7WXE_g/видео.html
+Bruce Huang in less than 1 min dirty cop reduced to scared shaking mess with a piss-shit cocktail in pants
they will talk whe Batman gives these punks a dose of Inverted Takedown.
Thank you Captain Obvious, never would've noticed unless I read your comment
He's interrogating him about drugs
As Bale once said, “You couldn’t pull it off unless you became a beast in that suit.”
1:15 For me, the best bit in the whole trilogy.
1:27 Inverted Takedown that will get him to talk.
SWEAR TO ME!! I love Batman
Watching this movie again a few days ago, what changed so much between this film and The Dark Knight regarding Bale's "Bat Voice"?
If you take the time to notice it, it's truly remarkable how much better the voice is in Begins. Not only do you understand him better when talking with other people like with Gordon, and the way he sounds when yelling at Flass he sounds more intimidating.
If Bale kept his voice the way it was in Begins for the other two movies, I think it would have solidified him as the best Batman by far.
Some said the voice was the same, but someone had the retarded idea of editing the audio.
He's still the best. People look into the voice thing a little too much. The whole idea of the voice was to disquise his own. He's starting out in this one so yeah it's going to be different than the voice he decides to use later in his career.
He lost it several times.
+godphoenix66x: Still say Kevin Conroy and Will Friedle had the best Batman voices, they could do deeper and intimidating without sounding like they needed a cough drop.
+Legendaryknight2 it put a lot of strain on bales vocal cords so he often lost his voice a lot. so they had a computer to change the audio to make it easier on Bale
The way batman had dude hollerin, priceless lol
Yup, that's exactly why the billionaire Bruce Wayne goes out every night, dispensing justice~ Doing good is priceless, one of the few real pleasures that cannot be bought~
those were real screams
This scene was one of my favourites.
i love how people are saying that robo batfleck genuinely scared them. "swear to me" bale was more scary saying this line that batfleck ever will be.
+Avi Mittal This Batman always scared me, and it's the only Batman I would be scared of. Maybe the Affleck Batman, but that's because he actually might kill me, lmao. I know Bale's Batman would NOT kill me, and I'd still be scared of him.
it's certain that he will kill you lol. He doesn't have the time or inclination to care about the collateral damage.
I was horrified of this movie when I was a kid I'm not gonna lie lol especially Scarecrow!
I couldn’t take uglass Robo Batfleck seriously. A growl is way more menacing than silly electronic enhancers
@@Zachary_Sweis doesn't mean you won't die. Case in point ras al ghul
1:35 Batman: WHERE THE OTHER DRUGS GOING?
1:59
1:41 or 1:42 SWEAR TO ME!
The iconic Gordon-Batman moment in all of the Batman movies and Tv series where Batman disappears after a minute Gordon looks away😂😂😂
Watching this while eating falafel. Hopefully Batman doesn't take me from behind.
Don't steal money from falafal venders and you are gonna be fine.
Flass is like a Sopranos character dropped into a Batman movie.
Batman: Where were the other drugs going!?
Flass: I never, I don't know, I swear to god.
Batman: Swear to me!
(Screaming)
Flass: I don't, I don't know, I never knew never, they- they went to some guy for a couple days before they went to the dealers.
Batman: Why?
Flass: there was something, something else in the drugs, something hidden.
Batman: What?
Flass: I never went to the drop-off point, it was in the narrows, cops only go here in force.
Batman: do I look like a cop?
Flass: No! (Screaming)
Batman's Voice was so much Better in this Movie But Atleast The Dark Knight Created Memes
To me this is 2:22 is the best and most accurate live action Batman ever captured on film.
1:35 Batman: WHERE WERE THE OTHER DRUGS GOING?!?!
This is so Batman, that’s really the only way to describe it
Man I wish he just kept this voice it’s perfect
That dude was eating things under all of that rain, what a monster, deserved batman's talk
They'll love Flass in prison. Does he know what they do to cops in prison?, being locked up with the same people he helped put there.
Flass is a dirty cop, so I'm not sure what they would do to a cop who takes bribes from Criminals.
@@TheFanboy19 but in prison, he might rum into people he arrested, and they might want payback.
SWEAR TO ME!
Such a shame. If I were Flass, I would ask Batman to do it again
It’s so easy to make fun of the voice and everything (like with the CH videos), but Batman was legit TERRIFYING in this movie.
This was easily my favourite in the trilogy. Nailed everything
1:28 batman catching fishing
That smile as he making the falafel, the poor guy had great work ethic and put enthusiasm into his job. I really felt bad for him and I really dislike Flass for what he did.
Flass got instant karma that night though. Lost his falafel and got brown pants from Batman interrogation
@@quakethedoombringer still though I know it's just a movie, but it remains to leave me frustrated, that's how I know that these actors did fantastic in this movie
It would of been silly yet awesome if Batman screamed at Flass to give the falafel vendor his money back.
i swear to god swear to me and then the thug goes aaah
This was the scene that made me realize that this film was a true reboot, faithful to the original character. Loved what Bale did with Batman.
Flass had too much falafel, then moved to Charming and became Bobby Elvis
I always thought the meat hanging off that guys lip was gross in this scene lol
Bale should have kept the voice at the beginning of this scene for the rest of the trilogy
Brian Beaudette he had no control over that tho.
This was by far Bales best performance as Batman, he's intimidating and not the mouth breathing/throat cancer slow talking idiot like he is in the next 2. Don't get me wrong I still like Bale as Batman, but he just wasn't as good as he was in Begins.
He had good moments with his voice in the 2nd one but was a little funky like the joker interrogation scene was perfect batman voice
Pouch King
The dark knight is still one of the best sequels out there. Your IQ is just too low to understand that.
Rj Diggs wow 4 years ago lmao the Dark knight is the best comic movie ever imo I was simply stating I preferred Bales performance in Begins much more
My fav scene from BB. Flass had it coming
Hands down, my favorite Batman movie. 🦇
Is the best Batman movie, and every true Batman fan know that.
1:24 is freaking hilarious with high speed xD
😂😂😂
Bro bales face during this scene is fucking terrifying
The dark Knight is a masterpiece, don't get me wrong, but damn Batman begins is by far my favorite Batman of all time.
Don't worry, pal.
*SWEAR TO MEEEEEE*
the most powerful weapon in all of d.c comics
haveing the name martha
That poor Falafel was left on the ground while it was raining.
It was soggy and wet and had been through enough.
But then that fatass Flass fell directly on it ay the end. :(
Batman is more than a God 🤣
Christian Bale is WAY better than Ben trashfleck
You can see Bale's voice degrading in the interrogation sequence.
He starts loud and strong with a deep voice (Where were the other drugs going? Swear to Me), then he goes with a loud whisper (especially when he asks "Do I look like a cop?").
Still a pretty great job, but I wish he would be capable of keeping the tone for this whole sequence
Where were the other drugs going!?
This is why they had to use computer generated effects to enhance Bale’s voice in TDK and TDKR because he would lose it due to the vocal strain.
1:28
1:42
1:46
2:09
I like Christian bale voice for Batman but also I can tell he was losing his voice
The fat cop is Bobby from Sons of Anarchy
His name is Flass, he's a corrupt detective and Gordon's partner. He's working with Falcone, drug dealing
On 1:35 it looked like batman forgot his dialogue
Nah, I think they just had to show how unbelievably pissed he was😡
The funny thing is I do this impression all the time at school or at friends houses and always get a good kick out of it
I laughed at this scene
That's why I like batman better than that annoying decoy ironman and the avengers. Is more serious and the marvel movies are just full of jokes and humors.
I enjoy both for what they are - different.
exactly and humour isn't even funny except deadpool
I love this Batman voice. Why did he do that ridiculous growling voice in the sequels?
SWEAR TO ME
Does nobody else find this hilarious 😂😂
“SWEAR TO ME!”
Best yoyo ever
Flass should lay off the falafel. Look what it gets him.
"SWEAR TO ME !"
Batman: where were the other drugs going?
Flass: I don't know, I never knew, never. I swear to god.
Batman: swear to me!
Flass: I don't, I don't know, never, they- they went to some guy for a couple days before they went to the dealers.
Batman: Why?
Flass: there was something- something else in the drugs, something hidden.
Batman: What?
Flass: I never went to the drop-off point, it was in the narrows, cops only go there in force.
Batman: Do I look like a cop?

Torture and intimidation don't always work, but when they do it's god damn Batman who makes them work.
0:02-0:06 awww shit, he's up!
Now this is how you interrogate, Affleck needs to take notes
"There's a storm coming"
"The scum's-"
"No, the air's damp, get a coat"
"IT'S MA'AM!"
The only time the bat voice sounded genuinely badass
only if he just maintained this voice
@@joeyjoe003 He did in Begins, not the next two.
2:08 Do I Look Like A Cop?!
That voice 😍

Batman: *Interrogates Flass*
Spider-Man: Deactivate interrogation mode
This is legitimately the peak of all Batman movies. Nothing has ever come close to this. Sure you could say The Dark Knight but the only reason to say that is the Joker. This has it all. A great Batman story, a great Jim Gordon side story, a great and comic-y villain plot (Scarecrow and Ra’s poisoning the water supply? Peak villain plot). This has everything going for it.
1:17 what they don’t like falafel
SWEAR TO MEE!!
It’s very wise of Gordon to admit his mistake it’s will prevent from making the same one
