LOVE your hair 😍 I totally understand the feeling though, I am the same when I curl my hair but mostly because I'm not used to having it down or curly. The description you gave for The Magic Toyshop has me intrigued. I just love all the books you recommend and hearing about new ones to add to my list
haha, that is probably part of my problem. I'm excited to have curly hair and then I woke up and had an 'oh no now I look different!' 😂 Yess, I can't wait to start it. Love Angela Carter so much! She has a very particular writing style. Thanks for watching! :)
@@StephMorgan_ yes! that's exactly how it feels and why I will never be able to change the color of my hair unless it's by putting on a wig. I just can't commit to drastically changing my hair 🤣 of course ❤ I'm a bit behind as things have gotten very busy on my end with an upcoming trip. but always very excited for your videos!
Possession is one of the best books I've ever read! It's definitely dense, and I know some people find it pretentious. But what Byatt does in it is just so spectacular. I hope you enjoy it! And I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on White as Snow. It's been on my radar for a while now, but I haven't gotten my hands on a copy.
Ohh I'm so excited to read it now! I rarely hear anyone talk about it. I can't wait! I might vlog some of my thoughts on white as snow, really looking forward to trying it as well. I haven't read anything by Tanith Lee before!
@@StephMorgan_ I haven't read any Tanith Lee either. I have a short book by her called Companion on the Road (or something like that), but I've never felt like picking it up.
She’s giving 80’s realness with the hair. Also congrat on 1K!!!! How exciting 🎉🤩
Gurrrl living in America I don’t understand it either 😂.
@@brooklinslibrary ahahaha
thank you!! 💜
That was a fun and diverse haul - those special editions look beautiful, and so does your hair by the way!
thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching ☺
White As Snow sounds so good! Also Tanith Lee is just a great fantasy author name 😂
Also your hair looked great
Isn't it? I *think* that was her given name as well!
Thank you! ☺
