The motif I'm talking about it the melody of 'death' on 1:29 because you can hear it at the beginning of "Aacro's secret". Another example of this could be taken from Hamilton, where the motifs are more clear. Phrases like "Satisfied", "Alexander Hamilton", "History has it's eyes on you", etc could be considered motifs, since you can hear them repeatedly through the show. Hopefully I explained it well.
