I can't believe Villanova has all those houses and buildings around it. I used to work at Villanova University a little over a decade ago and those houses/buildings were not there. Even in 2018 when i took the NHSL to King Manor on the way to the King of Prussia Mall those still were not there passing Villanova... that i recall.

SEPTA should've bought back express and limited services to this line. I hate local services.

I couldn't agree more. I used to work at the dining hall of Villanova University and this was the line i would take to and from work. Back then they had the Hughes Park Express and the Norristown Limited which actually made fewer stops than the Hughes Park Express which I always found interesting! It was fun riding the NHSL especially the Norristown Limited when it'll travel at such a high rate of speed since it wasn't making a lot of it's stops.
There would be a few times when if time permitted I would ride the Norristown Limited on purpose. It didn't stop at Stadium or Villanova. But the Norristown Limited would stop at the stop immediately after Villanova en route to Norristown, which is Radnor. Then when I get off at Radnor, I'd go to the other side to get the train that would stop at Villanova.
They really need to bring back the Norristown Limited and Hughes Park Express.
