From past 6 years I am using extra virgin olive oil. But it not suitable for indian cooking. It only good for sauteed or if we consume raw oil on hot brown rice. From past 4 months I am using avacao oil and cold pressed peanut oil because of its higher smoke point and suitable for our indian cooking.They both made bigger changes. Eating avacados and salmon fish fillets 2 times per week also helped a lot to increase HDL in a greater levels for my husband.

Have you considered trying cold-pressed coconut oil instead? It might be a better fit. I have learned that coconut oil is as good as mother’s milk. Please research on this as well. We've been gradually transitioning to healthier options over the past six months so thought of suggesting this oil for better benefits.

U can get oil in Aldi cold pressed even sesamee too
