Hi dear Lately l update to bigger EASUN inverter the SMW11kw my last one was the SMLii 5,5kw. Its exactly the same. EASUN exports with different brand names as well. My problem is the recognition of my Easun pylontech battery. Do i need special cable for communication?? Simple ethernet cable s no? The inverter came without communication cable so do i have to look for a bms cable? I order solv the problem? I have all you done choosing pylontech and after 2 minutes the inverter starts alarm with fault No 61.
The fact that someone is asking this question shows how inadequate this video is for installer-contractors! For a start the inverter is not shown connected to any supply or load. Should these be disconnected (fully disconnected? isolated?) before adding more batteries? Changing settings? Moreover the video says each additional inverter in parallel should have UDF user defined battery type setting, whereas the Master inverter is set to Pylon (at least that is how I understood it). This is counter-intuitive and needs explanation - in the video the whole parallel setup is discussed but not illustrated, so we are invited to "imagine" the setup, without a clear exposition of why and when we (installers) would need to do this. Please be clearer what is being taught in this video - saying "any questions contact us" is a red flag for me because we all know this is not likely to be a 5 minute phone call. Sorry to be critical.
Can i connect it to my solar inverter without bms I Just change the battery type to userdefined and then the absorption and the floatting and the cutoff
Hi dear, If 3 inverters are in parallel, and I have 4 lithium batteries connected in parallel, in this situation do I connect the BMS to only one battery from the bank !?
what is the benefits of this connection, excepting auto setting of charging function? can i make cutoff voltage by SOC? or i need to choose voltage same as with lead acid?

He is not likely to give a definitive answer because this company's business model is about shifting boxes from a particular supplier, not optimising storage solutions across multiple providers. A simple Yes or No is required, but any recommendation would result in a liability if something goes wrong. Do you see my point?
hello dear we have 6 inverters that's connect in parallel max8kw and 10 lithium battery PYL the master inverter can't charging the master battery do you know how to solve this cause and another question is how to change charging current for lithium battery from 30a to 80 or 100a as we tried from battery but inverter always showing is 30a.
Hello your bms will automatically set the charging current . If you are a Voltacon customer you should have received clear instructions how to set up the batteries to communicate with the inverters. There are a number of parameters that affect the charging of lithium batteries . You also have to check if you have successfully paired your batteries with the inverter.
@@voltaconsolar thanks for your kindly reply, the battery is paired successfully with the inverters , but the charging current I low 30A. I just wants to increase the charging current to 80A if you have any idea how plz let me know. Thanks a lot

Hello probably you did not buy the inverter from Voltacon Solar. You must get the right RJ45 cable with the correct pins assigned to the serial ports. If you sue a straight in : out cable it will not work
Thank you so much for your video! What is the rj45 pin interface on the battery side? Could you share please
What is the pinout on your RS485 cable between inverter and battery?
Did you ever find this out... seems the most important part which is missing from video.
Same question here ... did you managed to find the pinout? Searched for days but could not find one to work ...
i did some googling - see comments above - agreed absolutely missing and pretty much essential info
I am suspicious of the affiliate link...
Hi, can you please tell me what the pins connections are for the battery to inverter? Many thanks

you need to use the BMS , without bms connection it is not recommended to connect any lithium batteries to the inverter
