Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this! Very well explained and documented. For those wondering about the red dip switch setting at 2:32m for communication with Multiple parallel batteries, you assign extra batteries using Binary protocol. (1,2,4,8) to a max of 15 batteries in parallel. Love my Jakipers BTW. Wanted EG4's but none available in my locality so went with these instead and very happy!
Joe, This video was very helpful thanks so much! I have 12kw growatt with 3 of these jakiper batteries. Question is, why would you choose pylon 485 instead of growatt 485? Waiting on the cable so I can see if these batteries are still usable. They have been sitting without being charged or discharged for over a year!
Thanks for the video. When you plug the computer into the bms is it powered on? Is it a crossover cable or just a regular ethernet cord? Can the program change the capacity? I have a jakiper diy bms (same model number as the one on the 100 Ah server rack battery) but it will be hooked to 280 Ah cells.
Hi , I have downloaded a few versions on the pbms tools software but none of them show the "Inverter Protocol" or the "inverter Set Functions" . How do I configure the protocol? Thank You
Glad to see another vid Joe. Love the content, even if the video is shorter than normal, and/or super straight to the point. I don't have one of these, or these problems, but will definitely keep in mind for future references to those on the SLS who do have the issue 👍
That's cool. Next you should attempt to make Growatt talk with a Batrium WM4. I would love to see that. Supposedly it's possible with CAN, but too chicken to try. lol.
i have a lvx6048wp and did those steps but still nothing. found out need to make custom cable for it but still no communication. no proper cable for sale yet last i heard from jakiper. just lovely
@@AveRage_Joe I have acquired a 12k Growatt also, they tested before me and it's ok. Have you had any issues with unbalanced loads in the outputs of L1 or L2 alarms?
hello man, need your advice i have hybrid invertor Deye 8 kwt + two those Jakiper but updated version... in specs i see that recommended charge current is 20A...but its too slow and battery fully charged in 5 hours... what is the maximum charge level that will not cause degradation in next few years?
@AveRage_Joe it means 50a per battery right? 100a for both? I have solar panels - 16 items per 455 watts for each, Risen, but I cannot remember exact model.
Low Freq have transformers in them, are heavy and less efficient but are great because they are similar to grid and can start big loads. High Freq use electronics to mimic grid, light weight and moar efficient.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM, try a laptop with an rs-232 connector on it and make a cable always shud have an ibm thinkpad with an inbult serial port to do ur solar work.... like i do
💥💥💥💥💥 Im betting I have an old laptop with rs-232 on it still AND a pc!!! Oh yeah 100% can make one. Im pretty sure I have a ibm thinkpad but it may be a MINI!!!!😆🤘

I was about to ask about parallel batteries and you just answered my question. Thanks!
Thanks Mate and Mucho appreciated for the multi batteries!!!
Havent had a chance with the EG4's yet!!
Thanks for the video. Ok, I'm off-topic, but we are missing some wooosh ninja moves and black tail appearances... 😉
I second this 😁
Agreed!
He’s all grown up lol.
YES🙄 1000%
3rd!

Great to see you back again Joe! I'm always watching for your videos :)
Thanks!!! Should be a lot moar vids coming meow!!!🤘

Thanks Man! Yeah was straight to the point and MUCH shorter then the norm. I could of drug it out buuuuut didnt!🤘
@@AveRage_Joe That's all good. Some videos don't "need" to be super long. Besides, this can help you with zeroing in on the algorithm times ;)
HOWdy A-J,
Thanks for the WALK-THRU
COOP
...
Hawdy to you!!! Thanks for watching!!💥🤘
I need to know if Tha battery model works with powmer hybrid inverter
It has quite a few inverter protocols. Take a look and see if they ha e the same. I bet it does!
What serial port to lan cable , Please share buy link.
My LF Growatt inverted connected to my EG4-LL battery bank just fine. :P Jakiper seems like a good alternative, but I love these EG4's.
Yeah the EG4 should connect super easy!! Havent had the chance to use or test one yet.
How make rj45 cable for battery and inverter communication
Good video I agree with some of the other people what happened to wild and crazy Joe
Om On it!!!
That's cool.

I do need to do actually for all those 280ah cells I got and havent done crap with!!!🤘

How do you like your Growatt ?
Love it!!!

Id do 100-150amps if you have 2. Thats what I would do especially if you have solar.

Yeah just dont go over 200amps total or one or both battery bms's could shut down. SEND IT!
@AveRage_Joe thank you for your support !
@odessos1234 You bet! Glad to help!🤘
not popping over our discord anymore ey.. you're too good for us ey Ey EY! :P good to see another video mate.
I pop in from time to time. Should be able to more these days!💥🤘
What's the discord?
What’s the difference between low and high frequency inverter’s. Thanks

Thanks for watchin man! Hows life?
Thank u very much for the update
Thank you!!!
Yes battery 🔋 ⚡ 💡 👍
💥💥🤘
No problem for Average Joe lol
Yes Sirrrr!💥🤘
Ive seen other YTers have problems with this very same inverter.
Can you point me in there direction? Id love to see or hear about it!
My program is in Chinese ?? I DL d from jakiper web site?
There should be another version on there website.
